Wow, then you most likely have a bad gasket, or a bad crank seal

Those engines are very consistent, but stuff happens.

At this point I would contact the dealer you bought it from, and see if they can issue some kind of a defect warranty, since you can’t open the cases.

    Good luck to ya’

I don’t think it’s the side cover gasket, it could be chain lube running down the cover, or oil spillage from when you did your last oil change, it gets trapped between the engine mount and the side cover.

I could be wrong, but clean it up really good with brake cleaner and dry it out. Then you can re check again. Or post some pictures.

I’m glad you had fun! Addicting isn’t it? Most people in the karting community are very nice.

You wanna do it again? Come race with us at a small club here in Bakersfield Ca. It is a smaller group, but there is something special about that track with elevation. We have a group of friends that wanna race there, and we also travel all the way down to CalSpeed with the Tri-C guys ( very good people there also) Here’s a video of that track, and yes, they race at night time. Anyway we’re racing Jun 10th Saturday night in case you’re interested, and you can run the same set of tires you raced with this weekend, just flip them.

    Dude!

Just put a piece of fuel line, stick it far enough inside that molded hose and install the other end inside your catch can, done deal, it won’t fall off, been running mine for this whole season with no issues at all.

Please make sure your catch can has one or 2 bog holes for breathing, otherwise it will drive you crazy running like crap.

    Good luck with your race.

I have a complete MRC with mounts and brackets

Looks like this one, but older.

For Ohio should be fine, but for hot California desert is a bit hotter than what we like to run.

Some times being cheap can get pretty expensive real quick

My wrists and joints are not a big fan of doing tires by hand, although I have done this many times, still hate it.

This is the best tire you can buy for the budget, and will pay for itself very soon. Just buy one of these and you will never look back, not to mention it will only take you 5 minutes to dismount old ones and re install new ones.

It sounds expensive, but when you use it several times, you’ll be glad you bought it, and it’s totally worth every penny.

Just go to Home Depot, or Lowes and buy thick rubber mat, or padded rubber cushioning mat. ( they sell it by the yard, or foot )

Fire extinguisher Just go to Costco and pick one up for cheap, or just go to any auto parts store, they have them there for cheap also.

Don’t over think this stuff. Good luck, and have fun.

Is the kart not repairable? I’m sure it could be put on a table to correct the problem, and throw a few nerf bars, tie rods, steering shaft and maybe a spindle and good to go?
