Thanks. Pump around should only affect fuel delivery, with out having fuel starvation, as it keeps the bowl full
As for the jetting goes I really don’t know what happened, but my piston got melted at the top edge by the exhaust port ( never stuck ) just lost compression, I opened it up and found a big chunk missing at the top down to the ring.

    Any Idea?

I see what you mean, Thanks for the pic

Honestly I do think the tool is worth the money, for the time it takes to get built

I do not like that spindle system, while every other manufacture uses the typical nut and safety pin.

But If you’re handy, and would like to build your own tool, then you can build it for real cheap.

Just get the correct pipe diameter, put it over the special spindle nut, mark it with a sharpie, and grind off all the unnecessary metal off the pipe, saving only the teeth you need at the correct highth, drill a hole across the top through the pipe to stick a rod for the handle.

Or you can be lazy like me and just weld a rod across the top, and get it over with.

Anyhow, these are my 2 cents, if you are handy and good with tools

In my opinion this would be the cheapest alternative. Fast Freddy. ;)

    Thanks. Larry.

I would love to, but I have a race here locally that falls on the 29th and 30th for our year end shootout KT100 YC Heavy Pipe.

Do you know what jet size is needed for Sonoma, also? Main and Pilot? Sprocket size/gear ratio

I have an idea. Why don’t you make a trip to Bakersfield to compete at our year end shootout race, we will help you with the seat and weight distribution

I’ll talk to the guys and myself will let you borrow an engine package (KT100)
We’ll set up the pipe and clutch, etc. Just pay for your entry fee and fuel.

I recommend running with us old farts, as a YC Heavy pipe class, otherwise the youngsters here will eat you alive ( YOU CAN’T PAY ME ENOUGH TO RACE WITH THEM)

Last year my Son started from the end of mid pack, and after a 5 kart pile up in turn one, he tried to avoid, but brushed them with his left front tire it was all over.

Bent spindle, broken tie rod ends, bent steering column, bent axle, bent spindle. We could not repair his kart for the main event.

There were 26 karts in his class, That’s a lot for a sprint track ( AWESOME RACE THOGH)

Anyhow, think about it, and let me know. Fast Freddy.
Oh! P.S. Do you have any races under your belt? Or just practice days?

Not even a thank you, or yeah I’ll try that, Thank you guys, or nothing!?
You know TJ and I have feelings too.
That’s it! I’m gonna shove you off the track again, just like that one time you went flying, and no one could find you. :)

I made a 2nd deck, just like you need. It was real simple and cheap
Once I made up my mind how I wanted it, and where I wanted the brackets to be
I asked my old boss to sell me exhaust pipe, I bent the pipes with the bender at 90 degrees on each end, I built 2 of them along the middle of the trailer (they looked just like a stairway rail in a swimming pool)
Then I welded a couple of pipes across each rail for extra support, and there she was! The whole assembly begging for installation

The 2nd step was to find more junk/left over pieces of exhaust pipe to build the receiving brackets. I cut 4 pieces of pipe (same lenghth) I flared them up to fit the legs of the deck, then I welded 2 on the back of the trailer, and then 2 on the front.

When it was all done I could pick up the whole assembly solo, and stab it in the holes, and be done with it, didn’t even need fasteners, as the waight of the kart would push it down. I could put 2 karts on top side ways , no problem.

Then come home, unload the karts, remove the rack ( 2 minute job) Remove the 2 bolts and fold it up, put it away, and no one would know what just happened. ;)

Sorry, no pictures here, just try to picture in your mind. I will work
It was a few years ago, and I only paid my boss $40 bucks for the pipes.

P.S. I never had to worry about having extra hubs or buddy, as when I put it together I repacked the bearings by hand with real good bearing grease, plus the hubs had a lube fitting for a grease gun, never had a failure with them, and I used to carry heavy loads of building materials, appliances, furniture when we moved, etc.

Anyhow, loved that little trailer. Hope this helps you. Fast Freddy. ;)

    Tony’s option is pretty good
Another one to consider, depending how big it is, or if it’s a roller, or complete with engine and all?

If it’s just a roller, and you don’t mind removing some body parts and axle, then you can box it all up and take it to Grey Hound Bus station/terminal And have it shipped for about $100 bucks!

Or you can leave it alone, and if it has an engine, just get a 6′ pallet, crate it around it, and wrap it around with clear plastic, take it to Fastenal and get it shipped for about $150 to $200 bucks, no matter how heavy it is.

I shipped 2 karts on top of each other for $200 bucks, about 3 months ago, with Fastenal.

Keep in mind the buyer has to go pick it up to the nearest station to him.
My 2 cents, Fast Freddy. ;)

    No, all kidding aside.
Just leave the grid at the last minute, give the rest of the field about 1/2 a lap or more, and then start pushing hard side by side all the way till you catch up before the green flag.

Then your tires will be a lot hotter than the rest of the guys. Except me, as I will be doing the same thing next to you ;)
My 2 cents. Fast Freddy ;)

Once you determine the proper location for your seat position
The spreading of your seat struts will be a piece of cake, as your chassis is super soft, you really only need about 1 to 2 inches maximum on each side.

Just be careful not to crack the bottom of the seat mounts, where welded to the frame rails, so gently support at the bottom and midway while you bend it.

I would not use a cheater pipe, as it will scratch it, rubber hammer works best as an attitude adjuster.

Just do a little bit at the time, patiently, take your time on each side, and try the fitting the seat till you’re closed enough.

Put a straight bar across the bottom of frame rails, from left to right ( under seat) So that you don’t go past/below the frame rails causing major drag of seat on the track.

So, honestly the hardest job will be to find out the best measurements for a Rib Tech seat on a Tony Kart, between axle and back of seat, inclination of seat, and how close to the fuel tank uprights you need to be.
Once all that is into place 100 % then you can start drilling holes.

Don’t be afraid to do it, you can do this
And remember, Most guys with a lot of holes on their seats are very fast. My 2 cents. Fast Freddy;)

Will also run poorly and backfire at times

You may also wanna check your fuel lines for cracks/leaks, especially the one for fuel pick up inside the tank, could be slightly cracked/cut and may suck air in the corners.

    Nick, I think that’s you!

Remember the holidays are right around the corner, lots of turkey, yams, rolls, green bean cazerol, cran berry sauce, cookies, snacks, ham, pumkin pie, etc.

Then Christmas time, and new years eve, nothing but deep fried turkey

Will definitely take care of those gaps, oh! and a thick sweat shirt. ;)

I have no idea, as last year in my class there were only 4 karts (YC Heavy)

I finished 2nd and only got a mug, I gess not enough participants?

Most of the money went to the Pros ( Super Seniors Sports Man ) There were 26 karts in that class

I believe Danny Vasquez won the whole purse?

You may wanna ask Rusty, Dale or Orville, as I’m still a rookie here

I’m still planning to come and see you there in Willow Springs before the year is over.

How’s that new class coming along with the works?

I honestly don’t know if it’s legal or not

But the answer to your question about affecting handling is: No, it will not, and in case it did? Then you could do as most racers do. loosen the floor pan bolts just enough to flex the chassis, and it will free up.

The only reason why I would think not legal is: If you hit something hard on the bottom and it shatters in 2 pieces it could fly into somebody’s neck or hands.

Your comment about seats being fiber glass does make a valid point

The only difference is that the seat won’t come apart into sharp edges or sharp pieces

Usually will take a slow process of cracks, and will most likely flex and bend, rather than sharp knife fiber glass body parts. It is a different composite of fiber glass that flexes more.

I hope this will help you more than confuses you, please feel free to contact SKUSA rulls, don’t just take my word for it.  Fast Freddy. ;)

Simple Green, Molecule, Awesome, or regular washer machine detergent?

How bad is the suit? How stained or dirty is it?

I almost wanna bet soaking it overnight with simple green will do it.

Contact the company, directly and ask them

I’m sure inside those ovens they have a few cases of green rattle cans from Walmart to spray paint them, and to top it off, they have to spray them over, and over again to make sure it’s thick enough to endure brake fluid spills on the paint. ;)

I think it will fit, as long as you put the narrow part of the front by the wheel fenders you’ll be ok.
Otherwise you’re gonna have to install blocks of wood under the kart tires.
It is crazy to think that at some point I put 3 karts in a little trailer like that, all standing up, one after another, back in my younger years. Wow I just hurt my back thinking about it. :)

I had the same trailer for years, best little trailer I ever had for $300 bucks!
I had no issues with the bolt removal to fold it.

But if you wanna improve that, for a fast removal
Then just drill the provided bolts and put a quick release pull pin and good to go, or just simply buy 2 quick release pin kits and good togo

Or don’t put anything at all, but you will have to trust that the swivel hinches won’t crack and come apart ( NOT SAFE ) ;0…… mY 2 cents. Fast Freddy.
