MXC wheels are the best for keeping the tire consistent throughout a run. We’ve back-to-backed a few different wheels including the DWT LV and SE against the MXCs and found the MXCs to be the best for keeping the kart consistent over a run and keep the tires in their prime operating window.
In your testing, how did the DWT SE wheels compare to the MXPs vs MXCs?
Also, do they have the same offset as the OTK wheels? If not, how much do they differ?
I didn’t post that to suggest who’s currently involved. I posted it because it states that DR is Manufactured by CRG. So today where are the frames welded together is it the DR facility you mentioned in Acre or is it the CRG plant? Brian
DR is manufactured by CRG but the chassis design (i.e. bends/angles) are NOT the same as a CRG. CRG manufactures a number of other chassis brands … none of them share the same design as a CRG.

How’s the weather? Forecasts show from 30-60% chance of rain each day, but how is it in reality there? I was planning on heading up there for Fri-Sun.

I assume you’re talking about Mychron brand steering wheels. The Mychron-3 and 4 are completely different shape so the 4 will not mount in the opening of a 3 steering wheel (from the bottom side). You may be able to make an adapter to somehow mount the 4 on top of the wheel or possibly use threaded rod to extend the length of the stud on the bottom of the Mychron.
