I dont care what bodywork you have, if you are running the big plastic CIK rear bumper, you will have a TON of drag. Switching to a metal tube rear bumper will give you a noticable gain above ~60mph.

Exhaust gas temperature is the best way to check jetting

2-3 seconds at less than 3k rpm is NOT going to hurt anything. And most off the shelf starting fluids have lubricants mixed in.

You know you would be better off cleaning the carb now, rather than later… lol

Save yourself the headache! You are going to have to do it anyway.

Oh, and I always find a nice shot of starter fluid down the carb throat really makes the starting procedure a lot quicker. No need to prime the entire fuel system.

Ted, everything looks good, up until the “T”

The inlet is fine. Switch the two outlets. Put the carb outlet line on the barb facing down. Put the tank return line on the horizontal barb. Remove the restrictor in the tank return line. Make the carb feed line shorter so it is a straight, verticle tube, with minimal bends.

This will give you as close to a gravity feed setup as possible. Seeing as that carb (and all ‘moto’ carbs) are designed for a gravity feed setup, they are VERY picky about getting too much fuel pressure.

I will take a picture of my setup so you can get a better idea of the fuel line orientation. It has worked great so far with no starvation or flooding issues.

Dang, seems my picks from forever ago are doing pretty well! Who would’ve thunk Vettel would be doing so good! ;)

My X18 pocket bike with the 100cc 4 speed is 1 down 3 up. But i do think most of the more powerful motors are 4-up

I have mine mounted on the top right side of my helmet. I’ve only had it up to around 45mph so far, but after the first few minutes, i didnt even notice it was there.

The best way I found to mount it was to open your visor all the way, then place the adhesive mount right behind where the visor opens to, slot facing forward, and at about a 45* angle up the helmet. I’ll try to take a picture of it mounted.

Also, I always love the chin mount, but not all helmets are able to have it mounted there. Mine is too pointy and wont match the adhesive mount.

I’ve seen a few done like that, mainly vids on youtube of people running them up and down the street. I have always wanted to try it. I have one of the X-18 pocket bikes. 110cc, 4speed with a clutch. Its so much fun. Stock motor, $50 exhaust and a bigger carb. It’ll hold the front tire 6″ off the ground all the way through 1st gear on a hard launch, and im 200lb lol.

I say go for it. Get one of the 140-160cc motors for ~$500 or so. It should give a good fight to an F200.

      Here’s a few videos I found:
