Mike said this is almost as good as standing on the front straight waiting for them to come out of Turn 4.

    Thanks again.  So cool.

No telling what, if anything, we’ll be able to get. Seem to be having “issues”.

I was able to track my guys in practice today w/ Race Monitor. Very cool!

Between Cheryl & I texting back & forth and Race Monitor on the IPad, I just had modern technology out the Whazzoo!

    Thanks again.

Thanks for making this available.  I will be able to keep track of my guys this way.

“It’s official, I’m out of laydowns.”
Mike & I had heard you sold the last of your stuff; sorry to hear that. Had missed seeing you lately at the track. If you change your mind, Mike highly recommends the Animal class, and in fact he has a chassis he plans to build for an Animal to sell (after he gets done building the project he has waiting in the garage right now), in case I’ve given you an idea. He can even put green bodywork on it.

Hope this works.  If not,  just chalk it up to old age.  These are just some pics I took during Sunday morning practice.

Update on SAM BROSCHART, the new TaG racer involved in the first lap crash in Race 10 w/ Jamie Yount:  He is mostly bruised, but does have a fractured heel and will be on crutches for a couple of weeks to keep weight off of it; then back to re-test.

Great to hear that we probably had enough entries to pay the bills.  We seem to stay around the 225-250 #, and in this economy, that’s a good thing.

Thanks to everyone that came. Saw some new faces, and that was great.  Hope you had a good enough time to give us a try in 2014.

Thanks again to all that make things happen; you know who you are.

Gosh, we cannot get a break w/ the weather.  Don’t see how it can be in the 70s & 80s the whole week before, and even practice day, and then a front come in and along w/ it, COLD!

    Fun times.

I believe they gave up on getting the hard copy current and have gone online.

“I’m also confused at why your offering the Unlimited class at 3:15 Sat then the Superkarts run at 4:15. You would be better off putting more time in between those 2 races so a person who blows to pieces in Unlimited could have time to fix his rig and still make the Superkart Pre-final. Same with Sunday, they need more time between them for repairs. More entries=$$$ for the club and more fun for the runners.”

I’m sure that Kelly will answer your question re:  Hegar sponsoring, etc. but to answer this one since Mike was the RD when the USSK guys started coming to KART’s NC @ HPT, we tried changing the schedule in the hopes that they would run the other class too but they are basically interested in running their class(es) only.  And they want to be the first class on Sunday because some of them travel quite a ways to get to our event and would like to be on the road home ASAP.

When you put on these events, these are the things you have to deal with!

Thanks for that link, Dan.  I had one that took me to MARRS’ results, but it wasn’t chronological and had a lot of other events there, too.  I always had the suspicion that it contained every event where even when MARRS was renting our system to others, their events were included too.  Yours is much better.

Another great event @ Lake Afton, a little warm but bearable.

Thanks to Kelly and family, James & Maysha (and James’s friend), and Kelly’s friends that stepped up at the last minute to help out so the rest of us could play.

    See everyone @ HPT.

Thanks to Ron Anderegg and the Garnett Kart Club and everyone else that put this event on for KART MARRS.

Sorry about Austin Henry’s mechanical failure and crashing; glad his injury wasn’t any worse, as if a concussion and broken collarbone isn’t bad enough.  Guess you will be getting that new Bell Vortex sooner than you thought!

A shame the weather was so bad on Sunday and BRAVO to the hardy souls that actually took the green flag.

    See all @ Lake Afton September 7 & 8.

I hate to be a spoil-sport but I feel it’s time we leveled w/ the promoters of this event.

@ this point don’t plan on the Baldus bunch.  Mike has stated he just does not feel something like this is good for the over-all sport of enduro karting.  It will only take away from Series’ racing.  It will suck the $$ from several regional races for one event just as Stars & Constructors’ Series did to local sprint racing.

And perhaps it will even tell the tracks that they can get by w/ charging more.

    Just his opinion.

    Guys

OK, I figured the answer to the other question so I’m editing it out.

Now I was wondering about seeing the information about where the participant is from. It says something about registered people being able to see it, but I haven’t seen it yet.
