Bolts!!
I bring a box of washers, nuts, bolts, and various other little stuff (fasteners, e-clips, springs, kingpins, etc). Sometimes it seems I’m the only one out there with a decent bolt collection.
Also, all the tools you’ll need. Li-ion impact, and a portable toolbox from craftsmen are what I use. Also a box with all the parts cleaner, wd-40, oils, and lube you’ll need for the day. I also bring a spare axle and spare front end stuff (spindles, tierods, kingpins, steering column). Also spare chains (already broken to multiple lengths) and spare master links.
To me having all the tools and little odds and ends with the bolts and washers is probably the biggest thing.

Gonna dredge this up. I’m planning on going to the club race here on May 10. Does anyone have any contact info for someone in the club up there? I’m trying to get some info before I make the 4 hour drive as well. Mainly, curious how many shifters are usually there at a club race (turnout from their results pages looked pretty poor), and what the fuel situation is (any fuel onsite?) – also what time the gates open etc. I’m bringing my dad who’s never been to a race (we’re going to some golf tournament the next day in Ponte Verde, so I figured it’d be a good chance to try out a new track).
Also, anyone have any hints on starting gearing for a CR125 at this place? The website says they are running reverse full course with the chicane.

I would really try running 6-6.5oz/gal of oil and see how that helps you. I just looked at Swedetech’s chart and that’s what they recommend on there. I run 6oz/gal Motul 2T and MS98. Currently my jetting is a tad on the lean side at a 55/170.
That’s the problem with a track made from a parking lot and operating at the mercy of the civic center. Thay’ve cancelled before because of events at the civic center although never a blanket cancelletion of everything. Anderson in Palmetto would work. Practice could be worked into they’re normall Saturday schedule along with 2 heats then a feature at 5 PM. I would think if they had a 10 kart showing @ $55 per kart they might be interested. If there is interest I can ask. Tri City Kart Club at the Showtime Speedway would be another possibility. They’re always looking for new participation and They’re nice people who are easy to deal with. How about running the big oval configuration? Brian
Pretty sure ARP won’t let us run an actual race, something with their deal with the county this year prohibits that (that’s my understanding anyways). I’m pretty sure the Racecomplex guys will have this figured out before the 29th. Otherwise, I vote OGP on the 5th as our first event.
