I’ve had good luck with dashware. I did need to change the file format when I saved the data file before uploading it to dashware.

You might have luck with a kart that’s still in production, but there doesn’t seem to be many formal service documents in karting.

I’ll likely get one at some stage.

OK, so what impact will expanding the squish have in terms of longevity, combustion stability.

I should also mention I have HPV 3/4 pipes, and am in California, so usually running our pump 91.

Oh good point. Our local track is 7/10’s of a mile. Maybe 6 or so seconds wide open on the straights. I’m assuming that’s a sprint track? Road racing would be full sized circuits like Laguna Seca?

I have lots of old tires to lap with, and then these new rears. Just not sure how to purpose them, since I can’t get new R5 fronts.

Thanks Jim, I’ve heard all positives about the topkarts, so that’s definitely reassuring.

You’re totally right, I feel like I just need to start with a neutral setup, and go change by change to learn the influence of each change, and then start the tuning from there.

There is a pretty big learning curve here, but it’s my kind of thing.

4mm is more than others have suggested (starting at 0), but I’ll quickly find out how changes feel.

I’d say so. I run a lambda sensor, so I know it does run a little rich with the settings from the app, but for a starting point, that’s a good thing.

Well, I wasn’t looking to hone to size, that I’d leave to the machine shop. Instead I was looking to de-glaze and prep for new rings in a more even way that a scotch bright job would provide, without the risk of damage of a dingle berry hone. Given that, it did it’s job.
