Riley WillParticipant
I saw some 100cc air cooled engines in your pictures. Are they available? Is the Futura still available?
Riley WillParticipantI may have a great condition used one…. I know I have 115mm.
Riley WillParticipantHi Chris, let me know if you are still looking for an engine package. I can assist with a turn key unit. 403-680-1517.
Riley
Riley WillParticipantI have some slide carbs Lynn. Call me 403-680-1517 and I can go thru what I have with you.
Riley WillParticipantCan you take a picture straight on the front of the engine showing me your water inlet please?
also, text or email it to me so I can expand it.

Riley WillParticipantthis is one of your pictures of your engines in crates. I can see some red fuel line coming off the front of the engine, this is your pulse nipple
Riley WillParticipantRotax 129 CDI by the way. I have Rotax manuals too.
Riley WillParticipantPerpendicular port is the pulse. Hook up to pulse fitting at front of engine on crankcase beside water inlet. Follow arrows on pump. Fuel in from tank and fuel out to carb.
Riley WillParticipantYou need a CDI box. Call me.
Riley WillParticipantIt’s a Rotax 129 or 130. Where is the CDI box? All is see is a stator and coil. These ignitions are NOT total loss. The 130 had a harness for battery power to run a power valve servo.
Call or or text me at 403-680-1517 if you would like my help. I have 3 of these engines currently.
Riley WillParticipantSounds like you have the MV21. The 31 was front disk valve I believe. What info do you need? I have 6 of these engines if you are looking for a spare?
Riley WillParticipantWhat parts are you after? Most parts are interchangeable with other engines. The rotary valve stuff will need to be made or can be had from ItalSistem directly.
Riley WillParticipantSame cylinder as Rotax Max… Turd engines Ted. Sorry to be blunt.
Riley WillParticipantSimple direct drive karting is where I’m at these days. No gauges, no radiators, and no plastic bodywork.
love your passion Bob!
Steve and Pete, wish more people would act on your shared wisdoms…
Riley WillParticipantI can look it up on Monday. I believe it made 41hp on my Dyno.
Riley WillParticipantStill have this chassis?
Riley WillParticipantYes. They are all 99′.

Since that video I posted showing our EFI running, we have seen as much as 53HP. Modena’s claim of 55HP is entirely plausable. The interesting observation we are seeing is that even while making this much HP, the internals of the engine are actually showing less stress and evidence of superior lubrication.
I can post a dyno curve if required, but from what we are seeing, EFI is great and looks to be possible in the very near future.

EFI is being developed by many at the moment. BRC has our own. We use a 43mm slide throttle body that we designed. EFI only gets difficult on the 2-stroke when you try to tune the EFI like a 4T…
The HP Modena is quoting is achievable.
If you want to see an early BRC EFI test, go here:
Riley WillParticipantBrian,
I’m interested. Send pics to 403-680-1517.
Thank you!
Riley WillParticipantWhat engine mount does it have, inline twin or CR?
Riley WillParticipantYou getting out of karts? I have 150cc BRC engines, 125cc shifter stuff, 6″ wheels, Mychron stuff, carbs, etc. What are you getting that is bigger for the garage, I’m curious as I’m sure it will be cool..
Riley WillParticipantHmmm. Wanna trade for anything I might have?
