    Brilliant day of racing!  Thanks to NCK for all your hard work so that we could race.  Thanks to my pit mates for all their help without which I would not have been able to race in the second heat.  Racers helping racers, that’s what it is really about!

    Hey Ray.  Happy New Year everyone!  Only 70 this year, but the same old weather guessers being guessed again by yours truly (I believe they refer to this as compounding errors)!

    Only 13 grid spots left if you are wanting to race in the stock moto class.  1 week left to register if you want to race at Laguna.  Please do not wait until the last day.  The weather is going to be perfect and one of my favorite kart shops is going to be their for support.  Looking forward to some brilliant racing!

    One week to go and you could be racing on the same track that the pros race on!  No not me of course! Indy cars, Nascar , Prototypes and sports cars.  Turning amazing lap times too.

    Hi Jack,

    Hopefully someone in your class will chime in.  We have not raced on this track yet (Thunderhill West using the bypass), but I found out that the straightaway is 4/10’s of a mile long.  For comparison, the straightaway on the East track from turn 15 to turn 1 is 6/10’s of a mile long.

    Come on NCK, help this new member out!

    El Presidente has told me, “TaG should be a 4.8 to 5.0 final drive, 125 shifter should be 19-22 or 23.”

    We ran Thunderhill’s 3 mile track July 27th and we will be running it again next year; along with Laguna Seca, Sonoma, Buttonwillow and Willowsprings!  I have to disagree about only running twice a year and about getting old.  You and Chris are still pups!  Additionally, the Northwest offers some awesome opportunities to run as well:  The Ridge – Shelton, Oregon Raceway Park, and Portland International ( I will leave off tracks in Washington for now).

    Can’t wait to see everyone this Tuesday September 29th at Thunderhill West, and again on October 31st.  Any track any day with the Northern California Karters is better than becoming an x-roadracer!

    Thanks Ray, I don’t know what calendar I was looking at!!!!

    Track layout 13 in the clockwise direction.  Can not wait to see how much smoother the track is after they fixed and paved it.

    It’s time to get registered people!  Who you gonna talk into coming with you?!

    Looking forward to this race!  Heads up it is on SUNDAY August 27th.  The track has been completely repaved and should be smooth.  I like the track layout including the “bus stop”.  NCK will let us know which one before the race weekend.  I better go get my kart finished!
