    Mylaps are posted already!

We had an awesome dry race day and lots of smiling faces!

Big thanks to Jim White, Mark Morrison, and Roger Miller for making sure that we all get to race.

Thanks to all the folks who took a chance on the weather and traveled so many miles for the privilege to race each other on the fantastic Thunderhill Raceway.  Joe Street from Washington and Dave Fultz from Las Vegas (who else came a long way?).

Looks like we will have good attendance at our first race of the year; you don’t want to miss it! Merle Abbas is racing so maybe Terry Ives will come out and give Merle and Cliff Letterman some competition!   We have good groups in Yamaha, TaG, 80, 125 and 250’s.  We need a few more including, Animals and we might break 100!

Before you can know where it is going, you need to know where it came from. . . . . I will not try to explain it here, but I will suggest you look in the archives on ekarting and at our website http://www.nckroadracing.com

Click on all the tabs on the left and you will learn alot about our club.  Also, every board member will reply if you have questions or just want to talk about roadracing; there info is under one of the tabs on the left as well.  Looking forward to a great year of racing in 2014.  Check out our schedule, yes, under another tab on the left side of our web site;)

Wish you were racing with us too!  We never really got to go wheel to wheel but this year is going to be more competitive with several racers improving their equipment.  Care to give us a clue as to who has your kart now?!

5 weeks until our 1st race at Thunderhill :)  Everybody up here in Sacramento is working on their karts so they will be ready.

Tip for the day:  Check your rims to make sure that they are still round.  Let’s see how many will be as surprised as I was to find out that some are not round anymore! Of course you have to balance your wheels as well.

Stand by for the official word from NCK because some of the details have not been finished yet.  Mark will let you know as soon as he can and thanks for all your enthusiasm.  I can’t wait to go racing again!

Club membership renewal is open.  Membership includes your annual kart number so if you have a number preference you need to register before some one else takes your number because there will be one number to one member this year.  I have just registered as a member and for the number 11, for example.

Also, if you want to place an add in our online business directory that comes with your membership too.  You need to let me know in an email if you do.  Let’s give our business to fellow karters who advertise in our club website!
