Got sick of playing with it. Installed a new carb and problem is 100% solved. Thanks for everyone’s advice!

Hmmmmm – Going to check that because I believe i placed the diaphragm and then the gasket.  I remember this as I though it odd but the diagram was clearly showing it in that order. Going to pay close attention this time. One I verify it, Ill reassemble and look to Rics suggestions.

BTW – should the fuel line be completely without air bubbles? I notice that I get what looks like solid fuel connecting in the line near the carb, but near the fuel tank, there seams to be a dry spot. I discounted it as there always seams to be fuel in the line where it counts.

Thanks Ric. Will give it a go and see if it improves.

      OUTCOME –

The Coil was bad and fried the CDI. This made perfect sense as the CDI I replaced lasted for 1 start and then was toast. With the new coil and CDI it literally starts in 5 seconds on first button push.

That aside – HUGE PROPS to Art and Rod at RLV (http://www.rlv.com/). These guys were nothing but pros all the way. Lots of same day emails, extremely responsive and even brought in a test kart to confirm what the readings should have been. In the end I shipped them our entire Easystart system that they diagnosed the same day it arrived in cali. I cant say enough about the service I received and how happy I am to have these guys backing us up.

Concerning the technicals – here it is.

FACTORY = Known good easystart system

ME = the readings from our kart before the repair. You can see readings off the relay were definitely not right and our CDI was .11V off.

I hope this helps others in the future. I will carry these readings in my box from this day forward.

Thanks Jim will do. Additionally, I emailed PRD to see if they can provide voltage and ohm specs for the CDI module. If the voltage coming from the CDI is wrong, then I know we have another bum module and/or something is killing the module. I say this as the Kart did start on its own within 2 seconds before we shut it off and then encountered the no start condition.
