Where are they going? Riviera has been sold and will be demolished this summer. Inquiring minds want to know, plus we were planning on going. But is it going to happen? RIO out, Riviera Out, time is running out. Rotax has a venue, (who I do not Like). I am sure Tom is hard at work, but rumors will start a flying.

It is exposure for the sport, we all know the inaccuracy of the races or content, but the none kart racer does not know. It is reality TV, a lot of the content is made up. Kids under are tent are in it, and they had to recreate or change the narrative. It is reality TV which is not real life.

My son has driven Tony Kart, Ikart, Arrow, and PCR chassis, we run have run Rotax and Tag in Jr and now SR. Tony karts are good, but PCR has better brakes and better initial tun in and over all better tune ability. We have had better success with PCR, easier to tune as track changes. Plus OTK product are disposable, they are good out of the box but do not last. 3 championships last year. 5th in KZ at supernats after starting 18th. Just my opinion.

Seems to me the importers and manufacturers are driving karting today, each trying to take each others customers and put the other guy out of business. They are not helping grow the sport. They are driving people away.

Daryle pretty much summed it up. You are now forced to buy a new engine every couple of years, and sport is getting very fractionalised with single engine classes, what I run in Florida I can not run in California. I have a Rotax this is now worth $0.00 If you own a Leopard it is worth $0.00 after this year but at least you had a couple of years notice. Thousands of motors are will or will be obsolete very soon. I do not think this is good for the sport. Will be running Rok and USPKS unless my driver goes to Europe to run KZ, which you can run any number of motors.

I know the time difference, there is no excuse not to respond to someone that bought your product. I tried skype, they don’t answer that ether.
Can not load program, says illegal copy. Sent them the code that came up and other information and they do not respond.
I have talked to 4 other people and they all said they had problems with these guys not responding. No customer support at all. Several gave up and one it took over a month, and they only responded because they started posting problem on line.

We went last year in Super Rok and going back this year in Shifter. Drivers are a lot more aggressive. AJ got shipped every session but 1. Started 8th for final but it went down from there, battery died on grid, started last, then got taken out. It was an experience and look forward to going back in a couple weeks.

You generally take a shallower line, you do not do big sweeping turns, Trail braking is rarely used.
You triangulate most turns. Brake and downshift at same time, get kart rotated and get back on gas,

Run Super Rok in the Rok Cup in Florida. They are good motor and faster than Leopard
I think they are a better package than Leopard.

AJ won again on an Ikart this past weekend at Orlando running Rok Senior. Going to Daytona this coming weekend and there will be a number of Ikarts in different classes, Should be interesting and fun.

Kart is great, John is great to work with. AJ will be running Rok senior this coming weekend at Orlando, won last time by over 10 seconds, and hopefully will repeat.
Kart has really good corner off or exit speed.

Back from Italy, all I can say is wow what a week, AJ and I went the weekend before to do the local race, that was interesting showing up and racing with no support, only the few tools I took, and don’t speak Italian. but we managed and had fun. Once Andre and Kevin showed up for the Rok Cup things got a little easier, but not on the track. Agressive driving is an understatement, lots of contact. Had a great time, but did not get the results desired do to being taken out. Do have to give Big Thanks to Andre, Kevin, Rokcup USA, OTK, Vortex, the other US drivers, and Luca AJ’s mechanic for helping up at this unbelievable event.
