They aren’t moving the race to the Convention Center?

They are moving it, right across the street from the Convention Center.

I understand the reasoning for moving it, but the irony of both SKUSA and the Rotax series both touting their big races being on the Strip (as well the defunct CKI series in Vegas previously): the venue that had the best view of the LV Strip was the one actually off of it, at the Rio.

Reports are the Riviera is being sold so the convention center can expand.  There’s a chance it won’t be open in November.

Looks like the Riviera is closing May 4th.

LV Revealed (online rag) is saying it will be demolished late summer early fall.

Racing in Vegas will be interesting on several fronts this fall.

I have heard that update information regarding the SuperNationals will be forthcoming from Superkarts! USA.

Where are they going? Riviera has been sold and will be demolished this summer.  Inquiring minds want to know, plus we were planning on going. But is it going to happen? RIO out, Riviera Out, time is running out. Rotax has a venue, (who I do not Like). I am sure Tom is hard at work, but rumors will start a flying.

The race is on, now questions about that. The host hotel is moving. Remember, the event is at the Las Vegas Convention Center, not the Riveria – which was the host hotel.
