You want to reach max RPM at the fastest part of the track just before you apply the brakes for the next turn.

If the engine is sealed you have to remove the plug from the outside, if not take the cover off and fix it that way.
To remove the stripped 1/8 NPT plug use a screw extractor like an EZ-out or similar and when ready to go, heat the area around the plug a bit, as it was originally installed with thread locker. When you drill through the plug, go easy and use some grease on the drill to catch the chips.

Take the float bowl off, turn the carb upside down, and the part of the floats closest to the the carb, should be parallel to the bottom of the carb body. That’s the stock setting, you can then change to what you may prefer.

The 4 mm toe out would be the measurement with the kart on the stand. Put the kart on the ground with the driver in it, and you will see the difference.

Search is your friend, took me all of 15 sec. to find this. It a good reference page for all TM ICC. http://209.63.142.136/tech_tips/tech_tips_icc_tm-k9.html

The carb comes with #300 needle and seat. I have always used that and it works very well, but you have to run a “T” on the fuel line just before the carb, straight through goes to carb, “T” goes back to the gas tank. Some will run a smaller (#180 or so) needle and seat in combination with a Dellorto fuel pump, which has a build in bypass, that way you can run a straight fuel line to the carb with no “T”. Different floats i.e. weight, will change the fuel level in the bowl, you can achieve the same by bending the taps on the arm, so again six of one half a dozen of the other.

Arrow Kart has one of the best set up manuals of any kart I have come across.

The difference between a B and C is minimal at most. There have been several updates to both engines, one being the intake manifold. In short, I would buy the engine thats in the better shape, and not worry about whether it’s a B or C.

I will like to add to Tony’s post with regards to the needle valve, if you have used “carb cleaner” without removing the needle valve, there is a very good chance the rubber seal on the needle is ruined.

Personally I like the TM, but any of the top brands will do very well. Another thing to consider is what is serviced in your area, it’s very handy to have a dealer near by.

Good to see you are getting some track time. If you are talking about Vinny and Lorenzo Mandarino, yes they are great guys. If you know anyone looking for another ICC kart, I just happen to have a VERY nice one sitting in my garage. :-))

Hi John
You have 2 options in the lower mainland. There is a track in Chilliwack
http://www.westcoastkartclub.ca, and Italian Motors track just across the border at Sumas http://www.simaracing.com. The second option is the only track where they run the ICC engines.

Are you using that electric starter to start the engine?????, If so, is it rotating the right way, most of those starters are set up to start engines from the right side.

Larry, it took me all of 5 seconds to look this up on the internet, maybe you could do a search and figure these things out yourself.
Anyway, here is how to calculate gearing and speed.

You may have better luck selling your chassis if you advertise it in the “CLASSIFIED” forum, this one is for handling and chassis set up.

Look at the difference in wear on the 2 halves of the sprocket. One looks very new, the other is all chewed up. Are you sure those are matching halves, or as Greg said above, installed the right way around.

I have had good results with the Kalit seat, Italian Motors sell them, also get a set of the rib protection pads .http://italianmotorsusa.myshopify.com/collections/seats-misc/products/seat-pads-shaped
The T6 and T5 axles well worth trying in the RR.
