Oh no, the 175cc Super Shifter sounds cool alright … Watch our video of a brand new build from last year. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rb7P6frASRQ

He also mentioned several times the Honda will have its place for years to come. The engine on display in Indy  has a long way to go. The 175cc Super Shifter engine is fantastic especially for open class road racers provided the correct tuning from folks who know. I feel comfortable in saying the Honda is still the dominant engine from coast to coast. Although an IAME spec KZ engine would be fantastic for the SKUSA Pro class.  And I would not blame Tom for implementing that in his own series.

I hope you get your kart and carb running properly Robert, but please keep it on the track, the $55 practice fee is worth paying while testing your carb adjustments. If you need further help please feel free to call your local shifter kart shop or I will be more than happy to help you.

This just happened near Buffalo in July, prayers to his family:

Take a look at this CKR we put together a few months ago for a 6’4″ driver. Extended porch improved his lap times. Let me know if I can help! http://www.eshifterkart.com

Hey Ben, do you have a local kart shop that supports Intrepid?

If not here is the largest online resource for Intrepid shifter parts including your 2015 Cruiser model. Floor Pan, OEM Intrepid body work decals, OEM or Aftermarket Intrepid Brake Pads are ALL in stock. We even have brake shims for R1/R2 brakes.

Garrett, This is not a Stock Honda according to your pictures. It has a straight intake and a cut case. Can you post a picture of the cylinder on the Right Hand Side with the pipe off? That will give us a better idea of what has been modified. Thanks.

Momo the rotors do not look at all like factory. The Ven05 is normally a heavily vented rotor with ridges. The only aftermarket brand I’ve found that works well with Ven05 is Frixa, which would be a smooth, round rotor. Much like what you have there, although the size does not look correct. You may also have the wrong spindles as indicated.

Discs should be using the full width of the pad.

Is the engine 125cc? What size is the cylinder bore? You might try contacting Viper for the brand and model. Very interesting though. Let us know what you find.

Or get it at your local kart shop that supports shifters.

      It’s a 12mm flange nut, don’t forget the washer.

Yeah the end of your inner hub, like a plastic spacer, they are usually red on the Intrepids. But that doesn’t sound like it. What line on your inner hub are you trying to get to?
