Dennis ChappellParticipant
That’s the kind of answer I was waiting for. Maybe not the right answer but what expected.
Dennis ChappellParticipantAnyone know how long they will keep track open for drop off today?
6:00PM TO ?Dennis ChappellParticipantRobert
Thanks for the kind words. We had a good weekend bad weekend thing. Crowd was down a little I think weather had something to do with that.
The good thing bad thing was Maxter ran good Sat. with the big win. Honda was also fast for second race BUT broke the spark plug electrode off and droped into motor after Eric had chased the field down to get the lead. Done with only few laps left.
New top end for Sunday and again chased field down to lead and put on a good show with Bryon Rothenhoefer swapping the lead back and forth each lap until 2 laps to go motor over heated and had to pull in.Both karts ran in the low 1:20:00’s. Happy with that.
Thanks to Danny Alden for the go fast Silencers.Again thanks to Grattan for new bathrooms.
See ya for Grattan CES race.
DennisDennis ChappellParticipantJames
I think when it gets right down to it like everyone always says it depends on support. We have one and owned both TM and Maxter. Who you buy from and parts are a big part. Can you get parts at a reasonable time and if you use a engine builder is he available when you need him.
Who ever has one or the other will say that one is the best.
Both were good motors with good and similar power. Pick one that you can get support for in your area and go have fun.

Dennis ChappellParticipantHad a good test day got some things sorted out and ready for season to start. Day started out nice warm and sunny then some rain moved in about 2:00 in the afternoon. NEW Bathrooms at Grattan ARE NICE NICE NICE………..Lets keep them that way.
Thanks to everyone for getting this day going.

We run CES also (Shifter, sometimes Rotax) and have never seen the X30. Was wondering if anyone else had. Yes Rotax is a good package for road racing. We have one for sale (with a tub full of new parts) if you know anyone looking for one.
Dennis

Dennis ChappellParticipantNo the Alden’s are not new to the silencers or Honda shifter parts. They make a lot of there own parts and are nice people to deal with. Small family business with lot of good parts check out there web site.
