Daryle,

We are working on an article featuring the Race Monitor app, and the people behind it. We will get into the new subscription program, which will offer up better options to the end user. Re-buying is a major factor in their change, and the article will explain it more.

    Thanks.

    Hi Patrick,

Numbers decrease some before the move to the new forum, and yes, probably lost a few people with the move. Memberships continue to stream in, as the readership stays consistent. Many have gone from getting involved in conversations to just viewing. Many use social media instead. We still however are the hub of karting, and many new racers to the sport come here to ask the questions, get tips, and are directed to some of the best businesses in the industry to purchase their next product.
Dave, are those negative one inch spacers?
LOL, sorry. I thought he meant the seat struts were two inches wider than the seat.

Now I see that the seat is 2″ wider than the seat struts.

    My bad.

    In that case:

    1. what class is it for

    2. what seat size is the seat

    3. how big are you

    4. Do you have a picture of the kart?

    Hi Steve,

Thanks for joining the forums. If you could, please take the time to update your display name to include your first and last name. Thanks.

Regarding your seat, I believe you could use a 1-inch spacer on each side so you don’t have to bend anything. Check out ShopAKR.com to find the right size spacers you need. Be sure to use washers large enough on each end as well.

That’s a good point. Age is a big factor in what you start with as well.

If your a kid, you go with what engines are available at your age level. I think if my son starts racing any time, I’d like to start him off with lower HP engines. Two factors – Speed and Maintenance. The slower speed can teach drivers to be smooth instead of all over the wheel like you tend to see with higher HP engines. And the lower HP engines seem to be less maintenance.

Hi Ron, the ‘New Posts Since Last Visit’ is part of a plugin, and we have not been able to see any adjustments that we can make. For now, use the ‘New Posts: Lasy Day’ or the other options. If you use the NPSLV, use the right-click to open a post in a new window so you can keep the list while you are using. Thanks.

Guys. Spam happened on the old forum. I was away for vacation and the rest of the staff was on West Coast time. It happens all the time, most of the time you just don’t notice. The one day I took off, we get hit with a ton of spam. It’s gone and you can’t view.

Walt, you obviously missed my message in the original thread to email me to discuss your issues. Please email me privately so we can discuss. Thank you.

    Hi Jim,

My guess depends on the motor mount you have.

DB Motorsports set up Howden with a Exprit Noesis for Rock Island Grand Prix.
