At Acceleration Kart Racing we have the complete caliper rebuild kit or just the seals.

Curtis CookseyParticipantKart racing is a small industry and most kart shops don’t have a showroom like a motorcycle shop. If you are 130 miles from a kart shop you should look at http://www.shopakr.com Acceleration Kart Racing is just the click of a mouse away.
Curtis CookseyParticipantSorry, David. I didn’t mean to be so vague. The bottom end needle bearing by itself is not available from Rotax. They probably recommend changing the rod when you change the bottom end bearing. I am sure if you tried hard enough you could get the bottom end bearing. I am pretty sure Rotax doesn’t manufacture the bearing themselves.
Curtis CookseyParticipantThere is a rod kit that includes the bottom end bearing. You probably want to have it done by someone with the right tools and the know how to do it right.
Curtis CookseyParticipantThe part that fails is the bottom end bearing. They will usually last over 50 hours and I have seen them last more than 100. I have also seen them not last more than 10 hours. You can inspect it and measure the tolerances but sometimes there are no signs as to when it will fail. It is a pretty good idea to replace it after 50 hours.
Curtis CookseyParticipantIt is not an 09.
Curtis CookseyParticipantHere is a chassis skidplate kit we sell: http://www.accelerationkarting.com/chassisskidplatekit.aspx
Here is another chassis skidplate kite we sell:http://www.accelerationkarting.com/chassisskidplatekit-1.aspx
We sell quite a few of these and use them ourselves.
Curtis CookseyParticipantLogan,
I have a curved black radiator, or an older aluminum one. I would sell either of these for less than $100. I also have a medium Champion radiator that I would sell with the mount for $325. The Champion is in great condition and if you are interested in any of these radiators I can send you pictures.
October 16, 2013 at 1:45 pm in reply to: Seeking opinion – Is a 15 yr old safe in a 125 shifter kart? #13015Curtis CookseyParticipantI agree with Billy! Put him in a shifter it is way less dangerous than many other things that 15 year olds do. I would be more scared racing against an adult with less racing experience.
Curtis CookseyParticipantJeff, we have a 2009 CRG KT-1 shifter frame only that we could sell for $1000.
Curtis CookseyParticipantThat looks like fun! We have built some CRF 450X’s with 54 horsepower and 5 speed transmissions. They are very fun to drive and with a battery and electric starter are only about 20lbs. heavier than a stock Honda 125cc 2-stroke.
Curtis CookseyParticipantSummernationals on the Streets of Modesto? Should be interesting and hopefully good for our sport.
Curtis CookseyParticipantTodd, all of the Swift axles are reinforced at the sprocket.
Curtis CookseyParticipantThey work great Jim. I know where you can get a good deal on one too. http://www.accelerationkarting.com/electricstarter.aspx
Curtis CookseyParticipantWhat a cool race! It gets a little better every year.
