X30 JUNIOR

It’s been an amazing run for the SKUSA SuperNationals, reaching 29 editions, and the X30 Junior division will be offered for the 18th time. And, for the 18th time, a new name will join the list of winners in the category. Dutch driver Dean Hoogendoorn came to the USA for the first time last year and added his name above the likes of Sebastian Garzon, Turner Brown and others with a victory on SuperSunday. Hoogendoorn – not returning for 2026 – was the first driver from the Netherlands to win in the category that has eight different nations represented on the win list. It was also the first win for Kart Republic in the class.

A total of 49 drivers are set to battle all week in Las Vegas for a chance to join this prestigious victory list, with all but one having never won at the SKUSA SuperNationals. The only driver on the entry list to have win at the SuperNats is two-time winner Maxwell Macha (Parolin Motorsport USA). The defending Mini Swift winner was a Micro Swift victor back in 2023 and he will be making his SuperNats debut in the Junior ranks for both categories. The Floridian was fourth this year in the SKUSA Pro Tour standings.

Two drivers from last year’s podium will be returning in Travis Pettit (BJR / LN Kart) and Ashton Woon (SCR / CS55). Pettit was runner-up a year ago, coming in as the SKUSA Winter Series and SKUSA Pro Tour champion, and he is seeking a sweep of the SKUSA titles in 2026 in what is going to be his last karting event before moving up to cars. Woon was fourth in his class debut last year, having one podium in Mini and one in Micro over the last five years at the SuperNationals. Woon was third at the SKUSA Winter Series and runner-up in the SKUSA Pro Tour standings.

Tristan Murphy (RPM / Tony Kart) and Nathan Golseth (SCR / CS55) add to the experienced driver list. Murphy was third on the SKUSA Pro Tour standings, winning at the SummerNationals. Golseth comes in as runner-up in SKUSA Winter Series and having placed fifth in the SKUSA Pro Tour championship, also earning the Texas Sprint Racing Series title in KA100 Junior.

The long list of drivers will be in contention throughout the week in Las Vegas. Marco Sammut (BJR / LN Kart), Braydon Wagner (FW / GFC), Nico Kotowski (TKG / Birelart), Mateo Calderon (SCR / CS55) and Enzo DiGennaro (Parolin Motorsport USA) are all making a return in X30 Junior. Lucas Palacio (RPG / Kosmic) and Troy Ferguson (Team Benik) have had success on the international stage and both are set to make their X30 Junior debuts at the SuperNationals. The same goes for Wynn Godschalk (MPG / Kart Republic), who also did not race last year.

A total of 12 drivers are graduating from Mini Swift last year to X30 Junior this season, highlighted by Macha. Liam Nachawati (RPG / Kosmic) finished sixth last year, Aston Wyatt (RPM / Tony Kart) was seventh, and Cameron Johnson (RPG / Kosmic) was 14th.

There are 16 drivers from outside the USA in the field, however, none with X30 Junior experience at the SuperNationals. Jay Kostecki (BJR / LN Kart) finished ninth last year in KA100 Junior. Ruben Gutierrez (RPG / Kosmic) from Mexico is coming off a win at ROK Vegas, and he raced KA100 Junior in 2024 at the SuperNationals. Swiss driver Albert Tamm (Parolin Motorsport USA), Juan Garciarce (Orsolon / Tony Kart) from Mexico and Joao Paulo Bonadiman (Orsolon / Tony Kart) from Brazil are all making their first starts in X30 Junior.
