The 2025 Superkarts! USA Winter Series is set to conclude over the February 7-9 weekend at the Orlando Kart Center. The eighth season of the program is set to host Round Three and Four at the Orlando, Florida facility after making its series debut last month in a record turnout for the nine categories competing. The final two rounds will be contested over the weekend for the 285 pre-registered entries to decide the 2025 SKUSA Winter Series champions.

The format for the second weekend of the 2025 SKUSA Winter Series remains the same as the first. Unofficial practice on Wednesday and Thursday begins the event with Friday hosting five official sessions for testing. Round Three is set for Saturday, including qualifying, Prefinal and Final. Round Four is a repeat format on Sunday. The KA100 Junior division was expanded past the cap and will run a split Prefinal with the top 22 finishers from each moving into the Final. The rest of the field will be moved into the B-Main.

British driver Joe Turney (JHDD / Kart Republic) is vying for a second SKUSA Winter Series title in Pro X30 presented by Rolison Performance Group. The two-time winner in the opening weekend enters the series finale with a 100-point advantage over six-time SKUSA Pro Tour champion Ryan Norberg (RPG / Kosmic) – who finished runner-up in both opening rounds. Pro X30 rookie Collin Lloyd (SCR / CS55) currently sits third in the championship ahead of teammate Austin Garrison (SCR / CS55) with British driver Cade McQueen (Energy Corse Americas) in fifth. Former series race winner and SuperNationals winner Donovan Bonilla (RPG / Kosmic) is making his 2025 debut poised as a spoiler, along with those off the podium during the opening weekend, including Canadian Jensen Burnett (REM / Kosmic), Pauly Massimino (BJR / LN Racing Kart), Diego Ramos (PSL / Birelart), and Jakub Kolar (Vice / Kart Republic).

Pro Shifter presented by PSL Karting championship leader Daniel Formal (PSL / Birelart) is not returning for the second event of the series, opening the door for defending champion Matheus Morgatto (PSL / Birelart) to repeat. The Brazilian was runner-up to Formal in the opening rounds, and now comes in as the championship leader with the absence of Formal. Justin White (Maranello USA) becomes the top championship contender, sitting 60 points back. Alan Isambard (RRC / Maranello) is not competing as well despite sitting fourth overall in the championship due to a back injury. Gavin Bayliff (TKG Birelart USA) is coming off a podium in Round Two in his Birelart debut. A wildcard will be former SKUSA Pro Tour champion AJ Myers (Magik Kart USA), set to make his 2025 debut.

A sold out KA100 Senior presented by AKT Racing Team category features two-time winner Frankie Mossman (JHDD / Kart Republic) leading the championship heading into the finale weekend. Mossman holds a 61 point advantage over Ty Fisher (TB Kart USA), who will not be competing on the weekend due to schedule conflict. This move Blake Nash (Nash / EOS) into the top challenger role, sitting 120 points out of first. Jose Carlos Hernandez (Orsolon / Tony Kart) showed impressive speed during the opening weekend, sitting no third in the standings. Two-time SuperNationals Junior winner Sebastian Garzon (Orsolon / Tony Kart) was quick in his Senior debut along with Henry Wheeler (PSL / Birelart) who both came from the back in the Saturday main events. Aussie Brad Majman (JHDD / Alonso Kart) and Stephen Eisert (SpeedSense / OTK) are among those seeking to battle along with Jensen Burnett (REM / Kosmic) and Zachary Claman Demelo (Velocity / Sodi Kart) making their first starts of the season.

Another large field at 34 drivers in the X30 Junior presented by Speed Concepts Racing is set to battle. The opening weekend saw two drivers winning – Tristan Murphy (RPM / Tony Kart) and Lucas Palacio (JHDD / Kart Republic). Murphy returns, sitting just over 100 points out of the championship lead while Palacio is in Sarno, Italy coming off victory at the WSK Super Master opener in OK-N Junior. Leading the championship is Alexander Vanchev (RPG / Kosmic) with finishes of fifth and fourth after two Prefinal wins and two top qualifier honors. Max Weiland (Magik Kart USA) is the top championship challenger, entering the weekend a total of 91 points out after Augustus Toniolo (RPG / Kosmic) and Kit Belofsky (Energy Corse Americas) show absent on the entry list. Fion Shi (RPG / Kosmic) is coming off his first Junior podium while others seek their first trip to the podium this weekend.

The KA100 Junior presented by Orsolon Racing also featured two different winners, in total four unique drivers in the four main events for the Junior categories. Alexander Vanchev (RPG / Kosmic) and Augustus Toniolo (RPG / Kosmic) won during the opening weekend, however, it is Theo Salomao (Orsolon / Tony Kart) leading the championship thanks to two Prefinal wins and podium finish in Round Two. He leads over Max Cristea (JHDD / Kart Republic) by 35 points with Vanchev behind by 56 points. TSRS champion Tyrone Kemper Jr. (SCR / OTK) is among those seeking a podium result at the finale along with Isaac Malcuit (PSL / Birelart), Rotax race winner Julian Rivera (AKT / Kart Republic), Travis Pettit (TB Kart USA), Max Weiland (Magik Kart USA) and Victor de Alencar (AM / Tony Kart).

Franco Crivelli (Inter MS / Tony Kart) is the driver to beat in KA100 Master presented by AM Racing Team. A clean sweep of the points over the two rounds at the opening weekend gives him a healthy lead going into this weekend. Miguel Mier (Orsolon / Tony Kart) is the top challenger without the return of Raphael Matos (Velocity / Sodi Kart) or Niki Coello (FMS / Merlin). Scott Falcone (Orsolon / Tony Kart) is coming off a double win weekend at the Challenge while Mundy Loyer (HR / Tony Kart) is making his 2025 debut riding on victory at the Rotax Winter Trophy event in Orlando.

Three drivers make up the Master Shifter presented by Velocity Racing by Sodi USA field for the series finale. Defending champion and two-time race winner Scott ‘Skitchy’ Barnes (Maranello USA) returns for more with Tyler Guilbeault (DRT / DR Kart) and Rene Martinelli (RRC / TB Kart).

One of the more competitive categories from the opening weekend was Mini Swift presented by Benik Kart, witnessing SuperNationals winner Benja Fernandez (SLA / Kart Republic) and Liam Nachawati (JHDD / Kart Republic) taking the victories. Neither lead the championship with Mini rookie Zayne Burgess (Velocity / Sodi Kart) at the top of the standings thanks to two top qualifier honors and two Prefinal wins. He leads by 88 points over Fernandez with Nachawati in third, back by 106 points. Neither Wynn Godschalk (Team Benik) and Royce Vega (Team Benik) will be in Orlando, racing in WSK Super Master Series in Italy. Aston Wyat (RPM / Nitro Kart), Rotax Winter Trophy champion Enzo DiGennaro (Parolin Motorsports USA), Maxwell Macha (Velocity / Sodi Kart), Colton Schniegenberg (GWR / Tony Kart) and others will be returning to battle.

The sold out Micro Swift presented by Energy Corse Americas sees Lenox Lockhart (Velocity / Sodi Kart) leading the championship off two runner-up results in the opening weekend. Dutch Westbrook (Team Benik) and Marcelo Flores (SLA / Kart Republic) won back in January, sitting second and third in the standings. Westbrook trails by 93 points while Flores is back by 168 points after a DNF in Round Two. Leo Simone (JHDD / Kart Republic) sits fourth while Danny O’Gara (MPG / Kart Republic) who sits fifth moves up to Mini this weekend. Brody Stoffle (JHDD / Kart Republic) and Hudson Howard (JHDD / Kart Republic) were podium finishers in the opening weekend.
