Has he cut kart graphics for you? Wondering if his stuff would be durable enough for karting.

I’m over in grand junction this weekend so I stopped in and talked to them, apparently they have a new website that should be online soon. I took a rental kart out and had a blast, I love the layout. I will be making every effort to come race with you guys this summer.

I had a hard time tracking down the schedule for GJMS last season. By the time I had found the schedule I had already missed the only race I could have made it to. The GJMS website is nice but it was kind of hard to navigate and almost impossible to find any info on.

I race the lo206 class (just a sealed version of the animal) with an arrow X1 chassis and have had decent success. The reason I picked a standard 2 stroke chassis over the 4 stroke version was the ability to move classes in the future. I’m sure after a few seasons running in the 206 class I’ll want to move up to tag, this will be much easier as I can bolt a tag right on the chassis I already own.

My classic mini has some very kart like handling characteristics through the corners. Front wheel drive though.

Check out the track at centennial. Great group of karters down there and it’s close to Denver. This is my first year racing and they were very helpful getting me up to speed.

If you buy a Vettel kart it’s going to be a DNF every weekend. :)

I’m running a standard arrow x1 with a Burris mount and I’m not running into clearance issues. I can see where a 4 stroke chassis would make it a little easier, but it’s definetly not necessary. I’m 175 pounds and with my lo206 and 3/4 tank of fuel I weigh in at 366 pounds. Maybe my next chassis will be a 4s…

Hey Leo,
I’m setting up my kart to race at centennial. And I agree that imi is anything but tight, I live up in Loveland and I’ve been doing a couple test and tune days up at imi since it’s 30 min from my house rather than the two hours it takes me to get to centennial. I plan on making it down there this weekend so I can get my gearing and chassis setup sorted out.

Also, just to follow up on my clutch problems. Changing springs didnt help. Talked to the guys at the track and they seem to think the Titan may not workfor the lower powered lo206 engine. I think I will give the premier stinger a go and see how that works out.

17/65 (3.82 ratio) @ imi motorsports
im running #219 gearing, I hit the rev limiter 3/4 of the way down the straight, but it gives me a good balance of acceleration and top speed and yields the best lap times.

I have a complete cr80 engine package, fresh top end, motor mount, exhaust, radiator… everything you need. And I’ll throw in a couple extra rebuild kits as well.
