Are you using the new throttle stop sleeve that they just started to include with the upgrade kits? Also, make sure that you are using rubber mounts on both the ECU and Coil. I did not have one on the coil and it shorted out, it actually melted and was replaced by warranty. I noticed the new throttle sleeve resolved a lot of the carburetor issues.

We received our kit and I have found a silver carburetor sleeve so I assume we are supposed to be using one now? Anybody else get one with there kits? I sent an e-mail to Maxspeed asking this same question.

We just got our upgrade kit. What are the legal main jet sizes we can use?

Last I heard the update kits for the Micro’s are on back order. They are working on the 02/20/2015 orders.

With Rotax you need to ease into the throttle. It is not an on/off type carburetor however, there is talk that with the new updated carburetor it is supposed to be more on/off but I cannot confirm that.

Heard some dad say “I don’t do tuning I just write checks” I find working on our kart a lot more fun than writing checks..lol

Thanks for the info Tony. I find I am having to bleed them every race/practice. I swapped out the seals this off season so I was hoping that would reduce the need but even with it sitting for a week or two they still need bleeding.

Thank you everyone for the feedback, it has been very helpful. I went ahead and installed an e-track system and I think that will secure everything safely. Thanks again!

Thanks for the tips. I have folding stand, streeter I believe. Would securing the kart to the stand and securing the stand via E Track be safe? I have seen some do this but am afraid of it falling of the stand during transport. I thought about using a vertical stand and strapping it to the wall but I don’t know if the trailer will have that much room.

I would start with replacing/rebuilding the fuel pump. Are you using the throttle stop?
