      I use a clear tape made by Frost King for taping windows during the winter. Pretty inexensive and can be found in a hardware store or Home Depot.

      What is the weight for a minimax with a 1040 chassis. I am sitting at 310 with my 12 year old and no weight on the kart.

      I have a 2 shifter karts without engines setups. 1 is new and the other is used about 8 times, located in northern nj. I need to get rid of these. Gold Kart 550 chassis.

      It holds up ok, a lot cheaper and easier to work with than helicopter tape.  I have also used it on my F2000 cars.

      Did you just replace the cylinder or the entire update with the battery box setup and ignition module?  Can you use the same wiring harness ?

      Thank you for the suggestions.  I have always used Simpson helmets but I do not see a lot in karting.
