We were treated like family from the club members @ AMP from the time we arrived, until the final trailer was loaded and headed toward the gate!

The facilities @ AMP were very accommodating, kuddo’s to Buddy and the whole WKA staff for pioneering the Grand National event!  The track is a “roller coaster” to quote Andy Kiker, literally, with four story elevation changes and some of the most technical twists and turns imaginable.

The course is 16 turns with one main straight over a hillside to a sic 180 degree left turn 1, and a half mile sweeper that will test your stamina, there were also many golfer’s in the rough, but no track incidents for the entire event!  (the sandmen will get this, lol)  This track produced some of the best racing of the season, with several close finishes, and last lap lead changes!

The Unlimited Class was a spectacular climax to the end of Saturday racing with a 0.067 sec margin of victory, by two of the finest drivers in the business.  The crowd gathered swiftly to cheer them on in the upper deck on the paddock!  Darrin Cuthbertson and Andy Kiker swapped the lead several times before the race being decided on the final lap, what a race to the flag!

Congratulations to both Darrin and Andy for making memories for all of our families!  [Look for youtube posting of videos.]

I was fortunate enough to follow these two lap after lap, thinking to myself, how are they able to breathe?  Need to boost the stamina for the next visit!

The B-stock race also produced some great racing , with the top three driver’s reversing the finishing order on the last lap as well!  Nail biter!

After speaking with several driver’s, all came to the same conclusion that we should come back for future events.

I also have two Anderson karts that would easily accommodate either a 450 single or 250 twin.  Either one can be sold as complete roller, just bolt on engine and go!  Both karts are currently participating in AKRA and WKA events and are located in Ohio.

Just picked this kart up, it was a display kart, all stock.

I know very little about the TAG configuration, but I would like to replace/rebuild the clutch before I put it on a track. I am sure that I will need at minimum a few bell housings, and sprockets.
The reason for my question is whether or not there are different clutches for road racing apposed to sprint racing, different springs, shoes, etc., or whether the stock clutch is all she wrote.

This kart will be used by April initially, then I plan to make it available for arrive and drive for qualified drivers in the future.

Another question for you, does the TAG class require two braking systems as well?

I am assuming the $195 is per driver, and/or is there any limit on number or type of karts?  i.e. shifter, enduro, sprinter, vintage, etc.

What is the cutoff date for registering?

Like the idea of being able to participate, and spreading the word . .. .

I have recently acquired a pair of ’08 Anderson karts with the formula wheel package as well, could always use backups. .. .

I am located in Ohio, 20 min. from the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.

I will be putting together a 125cc laydown for the 2015 season and plan to complement it with a 250cc superkart by the 2016 season.

My wife will be piloting an 80cc shifter sprint kart as well.

If you know of any PVP’s available in the US, please let me know, or share my info.

I will be returning to karting after a 15 year abscense, racing dirt Modifieds & Late Models.

April & I will be attending the Dart Kart series events this season to participate.
