      There are lots of guides out there on the web. The best thing to do is go to your local tracks and check out what classes you would interested in competing in. There are many variables to consider: Your age, budget. experience, and mechanical abilities. One suggestion would be the LO 206 four stroke if it is run where you want to race. I don’t think there is a program out there right now that can compete with the overall experience of this class. Ask LOTS of questions and have fun.

      It depends on what classes run where you want to race. LO206 is a very competitive class with lots of entries at my local track. It has a very stable rule set and  emphasizes the driving and setup aspects of racing. I personally run World Formula as I am a bigger guy and the extra HP helps, once again this is a reliable and relativity cheap class to run. By watching what I spend and shopping around I have less than 3K in my total program. That includes Kart, Engine, tires, tools and trailer. Ongoing costs after getting started are track membership, entry fees, travel, and maintenance of equipment. It all depends on how serious you want to get, me I just do it for fun and the great time I have with the people at the track.

      I just did 4 rain tires off and put new MG reds on. This was my first time. I bought a Harbor Freight bead breaker and it worked perfectly. It took about 5 minutes to get the first tire off and then I watched every YouTube video again and did the other 3 in less than 5 minutes total. Mounting went even better. Here’s a big hint, brute strength WILL NOT make it happen! Be patient and think it through.

      To be absolutely sure on compressor size you need to check the CFM consumption of the tools you will be using, this can vary between manufacturers greatly. Once you have picked out the tools you will be using then you can get a compressor that will provide good service. As a side note I’ve found oil-less compressors to be more noisy (louder) than comparable oiled compressors.

      Well I’ve emailed CRG and am still waiting for an answer. Does anyone know how much a front porch extends the pedals? I’m not trying to reinvent the wheel here but the cost of the front porch kit + brake rod and cable + new front spoiler and mounting kit I could fab some new pedals that would be safe and give me some much needed room up front. By the way I’m a little over 6’3″. Anyone know of any other makers of front porch kits that will fit a CRG road Rebel?
