Thanks I was looking to do something like that I work at car parts store and was looking at some of the rental tools, I’ll have to check to see if we offer a dent puller.

We bought a kart and had it shipped from Canada in 2001 MBA Hurricane Karting. We went to Canada and raced and came back in 2001, that was all pre 9/11 stuff so not sure if things changed. No issues then. Where are you thinking of buying a kart from?

Any idea what kart classes might be there. I’m looking to buy a kart, one that I can run anywhere in the USA. I’m guessing shifter is about all sanction bodies? Any other that might be in all at a cheaper kart?

Is this legal for class B SKUSA license? I’m hoping to help by buddy Chard Arndt “aka Derek Lightning” get back into competitive racing. Want an engine that can run at the front.

Thanks Rob all really helpful stuff. What’s the closest kart shop to Nebraska/Iowa border that sells that Briggs LO206?

I also have a step son that is about the same weight as my son and is two years younger. My boy is 11 and step son is 9. Step son is around 4’9 or 4’10.

This is great information all, we like the LO206 engine, looks like my son and I could both get karts and have fun racing with each other and others. 4 hours to travel for some racing isn’t bad for a Sunday race day. We’d probably just head out of town after the Sabbath on Saturday night and get to destination around midnight or so and make it early morning breakfast and let the good times roll. My son is 5′ something around 5’2 I think. Any recommendations for a kart. I like CRG for myself not sure which chassis they offer that is good for this engine. I’m 5’11 not sure if we could share a kart or not?

Delmar is about 4.5 hours away from me definitely going to shoot to get there some in 2015 thanks for the info. Denver is about 7.5 hours for us but can stay with family and visit them. I went to that site for the Colorado Karters it’s not very clear what tracks are available area. I’m told there are three tracks in the area would you happen to know the track names?

Also planning a comeback in racing after a 12 year lay off. What class has the top drivers these days? Is it still shifters and rotax? – Rob Hogenmiller

Well a Keihin Carb can go on a Honda, TM or any mx engine abouts. So yes these are for a Keihin Carb. I’m not sure about one of the needles and one of the main jets, but the other 5 I’m 100% sure these are for a Keihin.
