thanks guys for your suggestions. Also i was concerned about the offset of the wheels that mount to hubs. I do have two sets of hub mount front wheels with different widths and offsets. I can get the measurements up soon.

The track gets run clockwise and counterclockwise. Also  the counterclockwise layout gets changed slightly that shaves ~2 seconds off your time. See this link the change is under the “Track A layout counter chicane” the pic furthest to the right, turns 5 & 6.

Homestead does a double race weekend Saturday & Sunday. Something i personally am not a fan of because as of now i do not race, i only practice so i cannot kart on race weekends. Also they give virtually no practice time on racedays.

Cost is $15 dollars per person just to enter the track on racedays. That is good for Friday (practice day), Saturday (race day), and Sunday(race day) if you are just a spectator. IF you are a Driver you must pay an additional $65 dollars for each day you want to race. (Saturday or Sunday). If you want to practice on that Friday it costs an additional $20 dollars. So if you we were to add it all up you could spend a total of $180 dollars between Friday (Practice), Saturday (race), Sunday (race).

Tracktime per class on racedays is as follows:

5 minute warmup

5 minute qualify

7 lap race

10 lap race

Um yea thats it….. Thats what $80 buks gets you if you decide to be a driver for one raceday.

Karting pictures on your desk at work? Nope but occasionally on my computer background

Have you been known to turn any racing conversation into a conversation about karts? Every racing convo i bring up karting and how the best drivers in the world are great karters and use karting to train for racing cars.

Do you offer to help new people out getting started? Not only do i offer my suggestions to anyone i come in contact with in the sport, i offer three of my karts to friends and family to get them into the sport. Unfortunately my passion is way greater than anyone around me so i think i can get rather annoying when i ask 3 and 4 times over to join me lol

Do you attend the local club meetings? (Are you on the board?) I do not think they have one but i will check

Do you volunteer at the local club? I do not

Do you donate used equipment to the club?(Old chassis that could be used for an Arrive-n-drive) I do not

Would you race 2 classes if they needed another kart? The local drivers are much more financially healthy than me so i do not compete only practice. If it werent for dumpster tires i probably would have given up karting long ago. </span>

I also wanted to add that i am unsure why karting at my local club and in general is not very popular but there is an adequate turnout for practices and race days.  So i general its not overcrowded but also not anemic either.

Your better off gettin a group of people and coming on a practice day. You spend 35 buks and usually get a minimum of 6 sessions; 10 minutes each session.

FYI i will be out there again this Saturday 9/21 practicing if anyone wants to say wuzup!
