Yes you can brake much deeper into a corner. They are adjustable front to back put to much front brake in can cause the rear to lift causing a loose condition. I know I have done it. it is not like a motocycle where most of the braking comes from the front brake.

The SKUSA motor is a 2001 engine package. You will want a 1999 engine package for road racing. I RR out west with a stock moto 1999 cylinder and the weight is 400 lbs. but that is IKF I am not sure what WKA weight is. There is a SKUSA 2001 cylinder class out here but the weight is same as SKUSA at 385 lbs. I am a big guy myself and with my outfit I go across the scale at 410-420. Swedtech racing built my engine they know the rules

The seat needs to be very snug just sitting in it. On the track you need that tight fit and you won’t notice the tightness. I loose seat in a 125 shifter is not good and could bruise your hips from moving around.

I would be willing to come with my 80 to stockton. Norcal shifters is running 6 races at the smaller tracks. Stockton is one of them. I can never find the schedule for stockton

Looks interesting but for superkarts? would have to redesign the side pod or mount it on its side with the duct out. I could see it on my formula 125.

Ray I went to theX30 also I was at the Road race also I finished behind you. At least my set up at the Slow hairpin you and the other X30’s got off that corner better. I like the X30 I’m the guy that had the Rotax EVO at Willow Springs  that I could not get it to work. Changed to X30 and not looking back. The Rotax is sitting in a box wanting a new home.

Hi Nick I have seen your kart run at Marina. I use to work with I guy John at the dump. I would be interested into talking about your kart. I live in Marina and it world be pretty easy to meet. I am on the fence about a 125 shifter I am currently running a tag X30 and I road race the big tracks. The stock moto is the biggest class in RR right now. give me your number or someplace to meet.

      Thanks

I would say go big and use a curtain. You can always reduce air flow and control water temp. You can not do much with a small radiator except put an air scoop or stand it up more.
