      Well said Doug,

Race #1 is winner take all one heat race. Race 4/7 is a two heat race combination with the second heat race dominant. Meaning If I finished a 1-2 Total of a 3, and Doug finished a 2-1 total of a 3 Doug will get the tie break because the 2nd heat is dominant. Racing 1,4/7 is an ALL DAY event and the last heat race of the day is where the fun begins… God Luck as I look forward to it. Lots of fast guys are entered for this race.

to get the ratio devide the large number into the small number.

      example 24/19 =1.26

But after reading Jimmys post, perhaps you should listen to him he is faster than me :-)

      fyi a 1.47 is a 17-25

      but I run a 50mm axle

It will depend on your tire size but I find this works for me (2014 stock moto champion)

      Button Willow 19-24

      Willow springs 19-23

      Streets 18-23

      Yes I agree with Brian,

It is NOT a rich condition it is or could be a LEAN contition. Try going up two sizes on your main jet. or adjusting your needle. The main is for WOT and needle is just off idle, Pilot is bottom.

Try first the needle clip position, the main jet.

Your jetting will change depending on weather conditions, fuel and elevation.

That being said with out providing a lot more detail in terms of the conditions. I run a 99 stock moto with a dual pump around system and a 170 main will only work at high elevation and a HOT day. Chances are that your main is to lean. I run a 175/55 as my starting point. I have stuck my motor before and it has always been related to a lean condition. Fatten it up… start with a 178/55 or for a new top end break in try a 185/55 make sure to get it up to temprature before hitting it. a little on the hot side is better that cold. Bring the temp up to at least 140 degrees then run it at about 125-130 degrees.

      Bob,

It was mentioned as a fun comment with a smile :-) “come acroos our bow”? I was clearly in front with the line. in fact Todd apoligised to me after the race. I am not sure why you are making an issue out of nothing… it is racing and I am OK with it.. I will gladly accept your beer(s) :-) carry on :-)

      Chris,

Yes I cooked my right rear yellow MG as well in race #4!!! I am glad you posted this because I will contact Axcelleration Karting and see if they will credit me for a brand new tire !!!. I have been running MG yellows/whites/greens for several years in Road racing and I have never had an issue.

I did not know exactly what happend to Mike but I knew he was very fast as I was running with him. I can only think that some one hit him from behind as he tried to go inside on 11. It may have been Connor??
