Sorry Y’all I apparently have some formatting issues. Wish this stuff was easier… I will try to figure out what this site needs and re-post.

      Apologies

      Bob,

We have two AX8/9 that we have run Clone, World Formula and LO206 on. Because of Arrow’s double leg seat mounts there was interference when mounting the four-strokes. I removed the stock mounts being careful to not cut or grind into the chassis tubing. Spot painted the chassis with Yamaha motorcycle touch-up paint and installed an aftermarket seat strut from the rear cross member to the seat. They work fine. I will say we run 219 gear as that is what the WF comes with and we have not had any gear clearance issues.

Gentlemen I think you all are missing the easiest answer to curb the rough driving dilemma we are all now in. Simply throw away the rear bumpers covering the tires and go back to the old ones that were only as wide as the chassis. I correctly predicted racing would become like bumper cars when the full length bumpers became mandated…

Here’s something else to think about on this topic:

      None.

We use the #219 for four reasons: First it’s what was on our World Formulas before we switched to the LO 206, we already had the clutch and axle gears. Second because I believe it allows us better gear options due to the smaller sprocket sizes.  Third (no way for me to really prove this) I think it rolls easier and lastly I think it stays on better than the #35 because there is more engagement with the sprocket, one again due to the smaller size.
