Laguna is just under 3months away with 209 entry’s and growing fast. We have some garages left so if you want one you need to enter soon.
We have some great sponsors on board with Hoosier tires at the top of the list. We now have comitments from several of the kart shops for class contigency sponsors that include Swedetech, Cameron Karting, Cambrian Karting, Leading Edge, The Framing Company, Aluminos. M & M Racing and NCK would like to formally announce the 2017 “Corkscrew Spring Nationals at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca”
This special event will be spread over 2 days on March 25 & 26 of 2017.
We will have access to the paddock beginning Friday evening of the 25th. Paddock camping will be available for both Friday and Saturday nights. Garages will be available.
NCK is currently working on a race schedule and class structure along with pricing for this event. NCK wishes to make this a special weekend with a number of special races and classes over the course of the weekend. As in the past this will be a 92 db sound day. We are actively seeking class and event sponsors. If you are interested please contact an NCK board member.

Events of this magnitude don’t happen very often, make your plans now to attend what is likely to be the marquee event for western road racing in 2017.

NCK will not be doing Willow Springs this year Just not enough commitment from the So-Cal racers for us to come down and do an event. We will look it again next year.

The Winter Classis at Laguna Jan 24 2015 is approaching fast. Registration will open on Jan 1 2015. This will be a rain or shine event. Due to restrictions the field is 35 karts per run group. Noise is 92 db you get one warning. This year’s format is a practice session, qualify session and the Main you must use the same set of tires from qualifying in the main. You can enter as a single entry and run the practice sessions and if we have time at the end of the day in friends and family. We do not allow tag along style running with the race groups.

Why is it everybody else is talking but the man that started this topic, It would be nice to have a post from him stating the status of the event. With him not posting a thing looks like a hit and run to me. My 2014 yr is planned with out COTA.

NCK is working on a race date in October at Thunderhill on the new 2 mile track a couple of things need to happen first, how many of you are interested in going and actual completion of the track, So let us know if you want to part of the first karts ever on the track, setting track records in your class and a great day of racing. Now that we about 4 weeks away REGISTRATION will open on April 1. entry is going to cost $150.00 for NCK members and $170.00 for non-members. We will be condensing the classes as we limited to 45 karts on track. So if your going post a response and like Dean said lets have a tailgate party on Friday night

Thanks Bill, you said it for me and yes Laguna will be 2014 membership and points earned  to enter. We have a kart limit of  45 karts per group. Group 1 Will be Cr125 stock moto, 25 karts 20 IC/E Karts will run both days

group 2 will be 2nd entry and 80,s Tags on down the list 45 karts max and run Sat only.

The official format is in the final stages and will be posted on the NCK website.

For you SO-CAL racers we have 4 races in your backyard so blow the dust off and join us we come south in part to give you a chance to run more then once a year. and we have 4 races in the north state as well
