      Hey Bill,

      I doubt it’ll get discussed publicly unless you/me or someone else starts a conversion.

      Instead it’ll be talked about offline first, then in the KAC meetings, then eventually some proposal will get posted in fastrack for member feedback.

      If you have any comments about the topic, you’re always welcome to write an unsolicited letter to the KAC/SEB stating your case for whatever you feel is the best direction for the class and club.

      I can tell you that I’ve had several offline discussions with competitors, KAC members and even one SEB member about the topic.  From those conversations, I think you might want to start wiring letters now with whatever opinion you might have about mod moto before something gets officially proposed.

      Hi Bill,

      No, didn’t blow an engine.  It might have been a little weak though in the Pro Finale.  I started to work on it and just got tired/frustrated.  It’s been a rough few weeks.

      Instead, a friend from Detroit region offered a ride in SSR in a Viper and I couldn’t refuse.  I am super excited to drive it!

      i did get to announce for the guys in KM, which was awesome.  But we did miss you not being here. I’m hoping you get back out here next year.

      Who knows, maybe I’ll be in a kart again next year.

      I rigged mine from a throttle cable and a cable nut.  I’m not sure how the fitted ones are measured though.

      Alan,

      The only time I ran at Meadowlands (2013) it was really bumpy in a couple of spots, some were right at the breaking or turn in point.  I’m not interested in running there again if it’s the same pad.

      Maybe the previous time you ran there it was on a different area of the stadium parking lot?

      Although I have a set of 6 inch rims…. What about everyone else?   Can you still buy 6 inch rims from the usual Karting speed shops?

      Alan,

      I don’t think the “Julian” rule (15-year olds running KM) goes into effect until at least next season.

      I may take advantage of the Julian rule next season if Jackson is ready.
