The lap times at Sonoma between the 250f and cr125 are much closer than the race results show…. Two different levels of competitors between the classes.
So far we are at round 8 of our series and reliability has been outstanding. Feedback has been great, it’s a bit less work to drive and tune with the fuel injection and the added torque. Power and noise are pretty entertaining!
We sold/leased all engines than we had available. Next year we are expecting the class to grow. We have put together 6 of them so far, including the one in the Honda commercial (-:

Try taking the pill out of the line that goes to the bottom of the powervalve solenoid. Set the red adjustable spring cap flush with the Powervalve housing.
We haven’t really had any issue with the upgraded spring/Powervalve routing… But we did come across one kit that the pill had burs blocking the flow of air that ended up with similar symptoms.
The issue was solved ,with a new pill

Spread the pins out from each other in the ecu, this causes the pins to be a bit more bound when you connect the harness plug. Also make sure none of the pins in the harness plug are loose or pushed back. Put dielectric grease in the plug before final connection.
Also so a good idea to wrap the power wires with electrical tape or shrink wrap under the on/off/start dial. If the battery box top becomes unclipped and arcs the leads onto the actual battery box, you will fry the harness.
These 2 fixes have taken care of 90% of the issues we have come across.

I ran a facility for a few years, originally hired as a mechanic. We had the otl karts.
widen rear track 10mm per side. This leaves 10mm of visible axle between the axle lock collar and rear hub.
full negative camber on the upper pill, leave the bottom a center pill. Only 1mm toe out preside.
Move the Seat all the way forward, make sure you have correct tire pressure. Try higher pressures to keep the tire from rolling over.
mojo d2 were the most fun in the kart.
hoosiers were good too
mg yellow/white slowed the kart down. Harder was faster.

Are there any more detailed pics of the kart floating around? I am curious to see some of the components and what they did with the frame. The pics on ikart and worldracing are pretty general.

The forecast showed rain, Anyone is silly showing up to a race like this unprepared. We had rain tires last year… this year and will have them next year.
When you pay 5-7k and risk throwing away the chassis to run an event, what is an extra couple hundred for rain tires and piece of mind that your prepared? Tom said it best in the drivers meeting on Saturday.
It is your own personal responsibility to be prepared, you have the option right on that sign up sheet. You choose to not buy them… its your own fault.
Why should anyone have to take the blame for not holding your hand. Its all pretty entertaining, I hope next year everyone buys rains and its 100+ degrees. Then you can complain about it being too hot.

Italkart uses the standard euro bolt pattern for their wheels. Same as Intrepid, OTK, etc… Nothing too specific, a lot of Praga, Intrepid parts are interchangeable with the Italkart.

We have a kart we use for enduro races, DD2 cylinder 30mm icc carb. It actually makes the blowtax fun to drive. Ends up being quicker than a motori or x30. For what it is, it’s not bad.
