Here we go again OTK OTK OTK lol. There has to be a reason why we keep talking about this kart because its great and work awesome. But in my circumstance weighing 140 5-10 and not able to get the kart to have optimal weight transfer needed. What is the best kart?

ok you have all made vary good points and thank you. I just cant seem to get my kart to work like i see other karts do. I have thrown allot of different setups at it and its the best it has ever been. My kart it 3 years old and soon i will be looking at something new.

I glad i am not the only one who thinks this is BS. I think this is a good thing lets make the rotax motor faster and easier to drive.

I measured the bearing with a hight gage and it was about 15 thousands of play in the bearing.

There is no slop bearing to case but some anodized wear. The bearing has slop wondering if that might be why im eating up gears.

Yes Gary the manual is 46 to 46 1/2 and thank you for your input. I will start 46 and see what it dose. I want the kart as free as possible then I can tune from there. I know how to tighten it up because that all I fight.  AND GARY CONGRATS ON THE WIN!!!!!!

TJ- I was told that by narrowing the front of the cart it creates a triangle effect and lets the inside rear tire pick up off the ground easier. Dose that sound wright?

Correct tony my fat finger accidently pressed it and it broke off. To me I was thinking that that tab just didnt do anything and I was hopeing I can get away with it.

I don’t like that the ribtect seat holds you in if the kart flips over your stuck. Im leaning towards the freem rib protector. What about the bumber?

Absolutely, but thats what this sport is missing is the presentation. The tracks don’t look good to the eye it looks like a kids hobby. We should focus on what the adults think about. Let’s start putting a purse out there for First through  Third. Let’s give a little back to the weekend warriors. Let’s get away from thinking daddy money daddy can buy anything and think in the real world.

I’m off topic here, but i’m curious on how those hoosier’s tiers work. I know they work good on my racecar, excellent grip but if you don’t take care of them you will burn them up quick, but how do they compare to yellow MG?

I have the same problem. I have the alpinestar rib protector and a free line seat. I went out with too much rear grip and cracked my ribs. I was snug in the seat and felt okay but just did not feel perfect. So i’m back at the beginning and don’t know what to do my ribs fucking kill me. I have been karting for 13 years and stock cars for 8 and i feel like a nub!!!! I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO!!!!!

I’m wondering why? Why the change? Is it to our advantage or disadvantage?

It wasn’t really tightly snug, it was about a inch of play. I’m skinny and the only thing that touches is is the rib protector and my hips and the rib protector does not fit flat on the seat it has more presser at the bottom of the R/P. It feels like all the side force is being directed to my ribs and not the side of my body.

I just  installed a new seat made by free line, slapped on new MG tires and went to Homestead speedway to test and tune. About half the way through a session my kart hopped and took the air out of me. I changed some things around and got better, then the kart hopped and it cracked the seat on the right side by my leg.  The fracter is on the left side at the top of my rib cage under my arm pit and at the bottem the rib cage the hole left side is killing me. Is it the new seat, new rib protector? IDk

Here is the problem, entry the art has a push that i kant get red of. Its not really bad i just want the kart to rotate easier getting to the center so i can drive off smother. The kart bogs getting to the center. The kart has a small hop when i put the extra seat braces on. It fells like it has allot of rear grip. I have the caster set to full and the rear of the kart low.  I have moved my seat all around the kart and still with the problem that the kart has to much rear grip.
