The up side of that motor is the semi wet clutch that should hold up better in Auto-X than the Dry setups most other ICC motors have… The down side is it’s also heavier than most ICC motors.

Us big guys don’t need more HP… We need to be lighter so the chassis works like it should!!! That is where we loose the time.   Unofficially blah blah blah.

Also so from the National perspective we are almost always the largest mod/prepared class… Rarely get put in bump class at pro solos… aka do we need to shake things up?

If a good silencer is not enough to meet sound adding an airbox will help a good bit. Just keep in mind it will most likely result in you needing to change jets.

I have used the CRG and OTK front porch kits… They are similar and both mount where the lower bumper bar goes so either will fit most modern euro chassis.. I found both used.   don’t sweat a missing brake rod you can get those in the length you need.  The OTK  kit mounts the “pan” level with the bumper bar.. The CRG one drops the pan about 1/2 inch below so the OTK one holds you feet a little higher up..

Both kits extend the pedal mount out about 3-4 inches.  Fabricating a kit would not be too hard either. New the factory bits are $$$ but used mine were quite affordable.

PS . I am 6’4″ tall  currently using the OTK bits on my 2008 Gillard

Without the pipe and carb less than the starting bid :)   If it was a complete setup and 100% fresh 2k is an ok price… No proof on the bottom end rebuild would drop my max to 1500..

I still think you should try the 5″ R50  :)  I would have stuck with the latest gen of this great tire but with a brand new to me Chassis in 2013 I wanted one less variable to deal with so I went with the MG …

I am still convinced the HoHo is faster on asphalt…  I plan to try the R50 again on concrete once I have the chassis dialed in a bit better on the MGs and adjust from there.

Odd once I got my carb close (SGM ICC motor)  keeping it there has been pretty easy unless I get greedy and burn up a piston like I did at the Toledo Pro :)  pulled stronger than ever before for almost the whole event, failed on the last run :)

your setup about as stiff in the rear as possible… Perhaps a good autocross setup … Not ideal for a multi lap sprint where tires get heat…

i would go medium … So toss the bar, medium hubs (the 150mm ones are HUGE) try around 95mm, medium axle (CRG M20 or similar)

that at should free the Kart up in the sweepers but you will probably loose some grip coming off the tight corners.

If you want to go super soft I think have a CRG s25 axle I could sell for you to bend :)   I have gone to Freeline Axles in the Gillard.
