you road racers, this is the motor you want if you want to fly.
google the homologation on a crs s88,
gearbox ratios make it real suited for road racing.

Registration is closed and no registration at the track. Good luck everyone!

can someone clarify, the Oct 31 Thunderhill race is the new WEST track correct?
the drawing in the nck site says the original track, which is it????

easy.. the threshold for most karters to come out to big tracks is about $250-275. Especially for a non premium weather month. $300 and your squeezing it, any more and its a no. If it was a big annual event like a USKGP at laguna, that will bring out more drivers that will pay any.
When i hosted the practice days i would’nt do it if it was any more than $230. You’d just get more volume when the fee is reasonable imo.
see you saturday greg

Anyone need a garage? i have one reserved and am not looking to run anymore, the forecast is a high probability of alot of rain, not just a little.
and im not really interested in running drenched cold, dont define that as fun. what a bummer, such a good track.
So Garage is available, see Joe Hollinger.

Any run groups for those that want to simply drive the track not race? Maybe run from the back?

Any info on Oct 11 Thunderhill?
will this be new West track only or the whole track with west 5 miles?

Trust me bryan, I wanted that kart, but it would end up sitting for months at a time. Just not much opportunities to run it here. I got a new bike instead and it’s opened up new opportunities. But nothing beats 4 wheels for sure.

Cool vid bryan, you got the black Nemesis? I had my eye on rileys white one for a long time. Just couldn’t justify it, hardly any opportunities to run desirable tracks here in Norcal. Absolutely love the 250 twins.

Per NCK, we will be gridding by fastest laptime. No separation of classes. Superkart, mod or stock 125 all in the same grid! fun is 2 weeks away

weather forecast for tomorrow is a total bummer. Still planning on coming, assuming i can run DQ behind any class when track is dry? just no interest in running wet track.

I’m only planning running Laguna & Sonoma. I dont want to be a member for the whole year. I can register for each track and pay for one day membership only? Or can i only register if x amount of members register but the maximum entry hasnt been filled? please clarify

Todd thanks for your work putting on this thing, never heard of this track till now. Track looks awesome. Maybe this should be our next USKGP since COTA is out of reach at this time. Not the same caliber but nice quality track.
-
January 6, 2014 at 3:20 pm #19088Jason SantanderParticipant
You guys can’t really expect any legitimate info on this thread, it is not the original thread started by the race promoter. The pursuit for a 2014 COTA event actually ENDED months ago. The question is not about the interest for an event at this track but WHO will put it on. The next person I would suggest you folks talk to is Tom Kutcher. He is the next person who has experience/resource/ SKUSA to put on a huge event at COTA.
