Would consider trading one Rotax for an LO206 engine package.

Thanks for the input! I’ve got the CRG body now, looking at going to the KG Fp7 or the OTK body.

      Thanks
I’m really interested to see where this goes. I am one to save the environment but I love the smell of race gas too much. Here is another link: http://autoweek.com/article/car-news/epa-proposes-greenhouse-gas-rules-converting-light-vehicles-race-cars-whats-it-all
Totally agree with you David! Thanks for the added articles!

      Hi there,

I’m about 220 with race gear and can make Masters weight but I am too heavy to run in the SR category competitively. I have run both with front brakes and without, I personally prefer the rear brake only. One thing that I considered when choosing a chassis with or without front brakes is the extra weight of the front brake setup.

The DR karts appear to be really nice quality and consistently run at the front in my area. I currently have a 2011 CRG and am very happy with it.  I’ve run both a 30mm chassis and a 32mm chassis. I feel like the 30mm may be a tad faster for me but I like the 32mm better because I feel it lasts longer.

      Thanks

      Fletcher

There certainly seems to be a void. It doesn’t seem like the Masters kart counts are spectacular for many of these events either.

      TaG or IAME

I had been running my Rotax in TaG Master and Rotax Master but have decided to run the x30 this year.

I ran Rock Island several years ago and would love to go back, I’ve always wanted to try the Florida Winter Tour and Supernats as well.

Thanks for the reply David. I run Masters locally but it looks to me like many sanctioning bodies don’t have a rule allowing a driver under 30 or 32 to compete even if they meet the weight requirement. I am 23 and would love to run some of the national events but only in a class I feel I can be competitive in.

      Thanks
