It looks like a Swift 2000 model, it has a long caster bar as you can see by where the rear bracket for the caster bar is welded so far back on the frame.Almost a copy of the Anderson

They are still a few on the West coast and, were very successful in the right hands
Calvin bought them in not sure how many!!!

Next Kart I would purchase would be … A Raider from Phil Featherstone of P.f.P complete with Kelgate brakes . Kart was tested at the Mira wind tunnel with the lowest drag coefficient compared to the others tested.

MS karts are making a good show in the European Championship with front row finishes

It would be interesting to mix up the current North American choice of Superkarts!

      Regarding the Rotax 257

Parts for these motors are still available new & used except for the non pwr cylinders.  One can buy good used parts on ebay for these motors and if you are serious you can also buy good tuned motors for karts. Guys in the sport do sell used motors depending on the requirement, pipe/carb /ign which can be purchased at a decent price. If you are serious about a 257 motor i know of 3 brand new non pwr  plus 2 as new non-pwr valve for sale. No tire kickers please.

Hope this helps and yes i run Rotax 257s, have for years and I do have new and used parts in stock

Mid eighties to late 90s there were 25 twins in the North West i can name them all and DRVS
      3 -Idaho
      6- Vancouver
      13-Washington
      3-Oregon
Club race average 12-18 twins 45 mins race, GNTs 1hr
250S ran there own class called 250 gearbox
      We ran at Westwood,Oregon,Spokane,Bremerton,Seattle,
Indycar weekend Portland with Nck & Sck twins
Very much doubt that you will see that kind of participation again, must remember those days Rotax 256 was king everyone was pretty much on par pwr wise & a new motor could be brought for about 2,500 pnds from Cdpt UK tuned & Andover Norton Uk.
      US 3,000 from Murphy
Racers today buy & tune singles for more money & go slower
and i’m one of them it seems to me that running a single has cost me more money then all those years of running twins
the thrill of driving a twin is something to never forget

Yes I can’t wait to get back in the saddle, smell the two-stroke feel the tyres grip, work the corners, hear the noise, feel the brakes trying to pushing you out of the seat, heart in your stomach at times, all those great experiences to be had. See you guys at all remaining races. The older we get, the less time to race let’s get it on!
      See you all soon,
