I’m quite surprised no one has answered this one.

With the shifter kart you can only get 60link 428 chains but correct me if I’m wrong. Obviously with gearing bigger or smaller you have to shorten the chain or use maximum length.

If a kart seat 10mm further forward or back can make a difference I’m sure a engine 10mm further forward or back can also make a difference.  Maybe I answered my own question but who knows. It’s got me thinking.

Anyway I will try a 59 link chain on Saturday, it’s 59 because my engine stop was at max length.

Guys it’s fixed. I removed the stop at the pedal to allow the arm to go fully back like steen said and I then noticed the left side moving then eventually the right side moved to.

Yea Gary the otk seats are terrible and I’m sure the tolerance is plus or minus 50mm because my size 3 is not a size 3.

Padded the hell out of it. Maybe the Tillet will be better quality.

I second this. I to need to move the pedals forward.

Not the best design from OTK as regards to adjusting them for us stumpy leg folks.

 

I’m a cnc machinist so i might manufacture some of my own.

I removed the reservoir caps yes but not the rubber seals??? The rubber seals on the lids or where the actual bleeding tool screws in?

I hope it’s something stupid I’m doing and is an easy fix. The pistons on the rear definitely seem vacuum locked because both always return to same position.

The track was very strange on Saturday.

I definitely went the opposite way and put to much front into the kart thinking it would help.

I’m heading back in a few weeks so will give it another shot.  I remember the first time I went I had to much grip so I will go back to the narrow front.

I put the front way to wide on one run on sunday and it was 1 second slower.

I was advised to use a t11t ? I do not understand the otk sizing. After measuring my seat the otk size 3 is not the measurements on the otk chart.

I ordered a m/s in the Tillet and hoping it doesn’t destroy the handling

If you want to loosen up the rear do people go hard on axles or soft? I’m sure it’s the opposite with Tonykart?  Very new to otk stuff.
