the weisco pistons are forged not cast aluminum like oem.. you have to be careful with forged pistons they dont expand and contract at the same rate as a cast piston and have been known to cause siezures when not properly warmed up..

the trx250r has that style push rod on 86-88 the 89 has an updated needle bearing and pressure plate to accomodate the needle bearing.. worked much better then the older year setups
I wonder if that make a clutch update kit (with the needle bearing push rod and pressure plate) for the cr125. anyone know?
Well since my first guess pronounced as “brark” is incorrect, I’m now guessing it’s pronounced as “brock”. Cheers
coorectamundo Sam! now if I said it it would be pretty hard to spell it.. :)

August 1, 2013 at 7:25 pm #5754Broque WardParticipant
wait, what are you running for tire pressure you just said they were normal and then said whatever that means… what psi were you running? you said the kart was skidding more then youd like… how do you know your not running too much or too little tire pressure to allow the wear to be caused by tire pressure? or have you played with the tire pressure before adjusting the kart?
-
August 1, 2013 at 6:53 pm #5745Broque WardParticipant
why dont they build kart seats to support the head, wouldnt that help? I still dont understand why karts don’t have a little roll bar to protect drivers?
-
August 1, 2013 at 6:31 pm #5742Broque WardParticipant
belt drive is the cure for that.. has anyone ever built a belt drive?

delorto pump and keihn carb? if so, 52 pilot, 180-185 main and a dgh needle-(not sure), air screw 2 1/2 turns out on a 38mm pwm or pwk keihn
not sure what your settings should be if its a deloroto carb

you never heard of a seal tool kit? who said anything about rusty sockets?
no slip fit crank halves hmm? oook lol
-
July 30, 2013 at 11:09 pm #5412Broque WardParticipant
hmmm, id still check with your voltmeter. to be sure…
whats the compression on the motor? and how many hours on the top end?
-
July 30, 2013 at 6:40 pm #5387Broque WardParticipant
um correct me if im wrong but doesnt the tranny side crank case halve lift off the crank? the stator side of the crank is pressed in… not sure why you guys are heating the cases to press a crank in? ive done numerous cases for cr motors and a press does fine with no heat.
a seal tool kit will press int he seal nice and even without the crank in place.. why would you complicate such a simple installation? I understand about seal alignment and do so with the seal tool kit and mic it after???

looks interesting. that sure will be a nice setup, the keihs are great but the jet changes suck.
does this carb have a fuel pump on it as well? looks like it but im not sure.

I have an arrow 2008 shifter 32/32 and an arrow 2013 kt100 as far as tuneability, the 2013 has vast improvements for adjusting the chassis as well as much easier ways to change brake pads(quick change setup), nose bumper clamp on and off, camber and castor pins. the best brakes in the business (both on 08 and 13 arrow models)
I didnt see anyone bring up arrows so heres my thumbs up for arrow.
the 2008 looks brand new still so as far as powdercoat goes its top notch and the anodizing of the aluminum still looks new too.

make sure your ground is good. that can cause that.
whats your spark plug gap? too wide of a gap will cause that go down .002 thou until it stops or move to the next trouble shoot.
you need to test your cdi, coil and stator for the correct readings.
If you checked the two above then you need to test, your breakup can be caused by one of those or all of the electrical components going bad.I doubt broken reeds would cause an issue at WOT.
