Make sure the throttle is cracked open either with the idle screw or the foot pedal. It needs air and fuel.

I’m  assuming you have clutch oil in it??? You must have located the manual so look at the description for air gap and make sure you are within the limits. That clutch is designed to slip to over 10000 rpm so you might think it’s slipping to much when it’s working properly.

Years ago we used MMO mixed in our oil in flatheads until WKA started the burn test, been away from 4 strokes awhile so I don’t know if that is still in the rules or if WKA rules are used for clones.

We have been using them on

Margays for a couple of years and I like being able to adjust caster and camber independently. I cracked a couple before I learned to make sure everything free and aligned prior to adjusting and then tightening it back down. Having said that I would pay the extra $ for a machined steel top plate rather than the cast plate Sniper is using.

I dont recall seeing a kart series from Speeddrome but there was a Saturday series from the Velodrome in Indy on ESPN or ESPN 2. I’m guessing thats what you are thinking of but not sure as the Speedrome has had kart races but not a series that i’m aware of.

Afa blurring out the signs, I know a guy that was a major character in 1 episode of “Porter Ridge”. He was told not to wear shirts or hats with company names or logos because if he did they would either have to blur it out or get written permission to show it. They probably had written permission from Comet and USPKS but not from Kartlift. And from what my friend told me there is almost no reality in reality tv.

There are better chassis on the market now. With a good driver and proper setup you could compete on the local level. If you want to be up front or run nationals you should go another direction.

We raced Kart Mini karts several years ago and were satisfied with the chassis. My concern would be price and availability of replacement parts. Spindles, steering shafts, tie rods etc were way overpriced but if I remember correctly OTK components were close to being a direct replacement.

As far as I know there is no longer a distributor or dealers for them in the US.

If you have never seen an open wheel car at Eldora you might like the trucks. It was better than anything else on TV that night but the only thing that will get me to drive over there is sprint cars.
