Andy, sorry to hear you had so much trouble getting the 206 mounted. I purchased mine from conlin speedsports in ohio. motor came already to go with clutch ,mount , complete. mounted it on an old birel  2008 ry 30 sprint chassis.  Had no problems. Took about an hour to remove the axle to get the sprocket on the inside of the bearings. other than that, it bolted right on.

Thanks Greg. I tapped it with a hammer and it popped right off. Learn something new every day.

I was afraid to hit the crank thinking it would bend or damage it.

<p style=”text-align: left;”>The puller was a new comet racing 5 bolt puller. The threads on the puller stripped when pressure was applied. I was not using air tools , just an adjustable wrench. I’m going to tap the puller one size larger , should be fine for my next atempt.</p>

gary, thanks for the post.  so, my origanal questions is how much slower, would a wet clutch be per lap. I race at pit race with lap times in the 1;02;00s. Im new to karting and this whole dry clutch setup thing is a bit overwhelming. i know its slower ,but im looking for low maintenance at this piont . focusing on setup and driving.
