John BakerParticipantBump, looking for a kart from 2001 and up.
John BakerParticipantI checked the threads on the plug and they seemed ok, but they were definitely stripped on the master cylinder. So what are my options now? I really appreciate all the help.
John BakerParticipantI’ll take a look when I get home, but if the screw is not stripped, then my options are to get a slightly bigger plug and drill it out or buy a new master cylinder?
John BakerParticipantGuess I won’t try the O ring… considering it won’t tighten, is there the possibility that the master cylinder is toast, or could I fix it somehow?
John BakerParticipantThanks Tony, there is a washer, but I’ll definitely try the O-ring. I forgot to mention, but the screw never sits tight, so I’m thinking it could be stripped threads, not sure if it is the plug or if it is the threads on the actual master cylinder.

John BakerParticipantBump, I also have the seat, it is being cleaned

John BakerParticipantThank you so much for the info, I’ll look into putting a tube there, but with clamps or some other way to secure it other than welds. I appreciate all the help guys, anything is appreciated, I guess I should either look for a new kart or for a jackshaft. – John
John BakerParticipantThank you for all the help, I really appreciate it. I will try to mount a KT100, and if it is too inconvenient, I will buy/sell the chassis for a 4 cycle CIK Kart. – John
John BakerParticipantThank you so much, and btw just making sure (it’s my main concern), the Tony Kart rail spacing is about 120mm correct? That’s why I was worried about international mounts. Also, do I bend the seat strut next to it, or cut it and buy an adjustable seat strut? (Btw, I haven’t secured the axle yet, I’m cleaning the kart slowly and replacing some old bolts)
