Bill SchmidtParticipant
Ditto, what Alex said
Bill SchmidtParticipantAlan,
You might be right. They listed the frame as 30mm. Seems like most of the ones I have seen are 25 or 28mm. I guess I would never have to worry about the little guy bending the frame?
Bill SchmidtParticipantI am interested in this kart, but North Carolina is way too far for pickup. Can you strap it to a pallet and ship it?
Bill SchmidtParticipantWhere are you located?
Bill SchmidtParticipantOn the brake pedal, it has 4 holes to choose from, so I can put a safety cable on any that I am not using for the regular brake rod. The master cylinder doesn’t have a hookup for a safety cable. But, it looks like I can l use a piece of angle iron on the master pull-rods to make it work. I am willing to buy a factory setup for the kart, but damned if I can find one. Intrepid seems to be a little secretive on factory parts. If there is a generic one out there that will work, let me know. Maybe I just haven’t looked hard enough?
Bill SchmidtParticipantPhotos and a price on the mod engine?
Bill SchmidtParticipantMarc,
I assume you are in Florida? How much to ship to me in Kansas City?
Bill SchmidtParticipantDoes it have front brakes?
Bill SchmidtParticipantIs this the 30mm chassis? Does it come with front brakes?
September 20, 2014 at 9:20 pm in reply to: 2003 Trackmagic Diablo 125cc Chassis – What Fuel Tank? #34110Bill SchmidtParticipantI have a 1995 Trackmagic and had the same problem with my tank. I then bought a traditional 8 liter tank with the bolt hole built into the tank, made to screw on a bolt through the uprights. I welded a small plate between the uprights and drilled a hole through the center for the bolt to go through. Fits like a charm now.
Bill SchmidtParticipantWhat year is the chassis? Does it have front brakes? 30 or 32 mm frame?
Bill SchmidtParticipantBill SchmidtParticipantDoes it have front brakes? Tag or shifter? Location?
Bill SchmidtParticipantDo you have 2 road rebels for sales or it this a double posting?
Bill SchmidtParticipantDoes it have front brakes?
Bill SchmidtParticipantRegistration deadline is midnight tonight. This is the smallest Lincoln Divisional we have ever had? Plenty of room for more shifter karts.
Bill SchmidtParticipantYeah! And kml is actually missing 2 gals. Brigit Sawatsky and Dana Gill.
Bill SchmidtParticipantJimmy….I have recently joined the local sprinters and have pounded out a few laps.
Matt….I have changed toe-out, moved seat to the rear, added seat struts, tried 4 different carbs, 3 different tire compounds, different sprockets, the list is endless. Havent tried axles since 1 3/8″ size dont exactly grow on trees.
Chris….I agree, but dont have the $1000 or more for a used Honda engine.
Bill SchmidtParticipantWhen I read Vernon’s posting, I had to stop and think,”Did I post this, or did Vernon?” Thanks Vernon, I couldnt have said it better myself. I agree 100%.
Chris, I didnt ask for 20 different opinions, I asked for yours, but didnt get it?
Jimmy, How do you propose that I “focus on my driving”? I have over 50 autocrosses on my same shifter kart in the last 5 1/2 years. Do you think that 55th or 60th event is going to magically make be a winner? I bet an extra 5hp would help immensely.
Bill SchmidtParticipantChris,
Take the 4 categories/specs that I listed and replace the hp #’s with your own to let us all see what your opinion is.
Bill SchmidtParticipantWell, after about 5 years of autocrossing karts, here is my take on the hp ratings:
spec Honda… 34hp
mod Honda with stock ignition…39hp
mod Honda with PI…….45hp
ICC engines……………….48hp
All are rough, approximate figures
Bill SchmidtParticipantTag or shifter? Front brakes or no front brakes?
Bill SchmidtParticipantTry telling that to the guys that have 45hp. I have about 30hp.
Bill SchmidtParticipantwhat year is the chassis?
