Don’t forget that Early Pre Entry pricing ends this weekend on May 28th. Regular Pre Entry pricing and the reduced rate DKC Bundle Special will remain open until June 10th. Those looking to enter a Minor must have the proper Notarized Waiver and documentation completed by June 10th. Please visit http://www.dartkartclub.com for further details, downloadable forms and contact information for any further assistance.

Look forward to seeing you all at one of the most competitive road courses in the U.S., Mid-Ohio Sportscar Course on June 17-19.

    Members and Road Racers,

All of us at the Dart Kart Club would like to thank everyone that came out to enjoy a gratifying weekend at the new National Corvette Museum Motorsports Park facility.  The 2-mile West Course was a very technical layout that received a lot of compliments from the racers for its challenging corners and smooth asphalt.  I would like to extend a special thank you to those that have volunteered this season, as well as to all our Sponsors that helped make the DKC-hosted events possible.

The AKRA Road Racing Series presented by Vega Tire point standings have been updated to include the first three rounds and are available on the DKC website.  The MyLaps results have also been uploaded and can be viewed here: http://www.mylaps.com/en/events/1189585

Please feel free to drop us a note through the Contact Page on our website and let us know how we can continue to best serve our members and the enduro karting community as we move to the future.

Lastly, please do not forget to make plans to finish out the final round of the AKRA Road Racing Series presented by Vega Tire at the Michigan International Speedway on September 19-20.

Hope to see you all on track soon!

    Sincerely,

    Andy Leighninger

    DKC President

    Jeremy,

Thank you for recognizing all the effort put forth by a great group of volunteers that make our events so enjoyable. With both the DKC Board as well many of our Dart Kart Club Members and families offering their services, the National Corvette Museum race was well received by those in attendance. Even with the shortcomings you mentioned of a facility that is still in development, with cooperation from racers like yourself, these events will continue to have a fantastic atmosphere for everyone involved.

To answer the question about the chicane on the front straight, we will not be using it for our event. Tent camping in the paddock is allowed at a cost of $35 and there are showers available at the track. I also wanted to let those know who are renting a garage that the track will not allow extension cords to be run from their garage to their trailer as it would impede the fire lane. Please plan accordingly.

Most importantly, we will be releasing a track paddock map shortly to give all the crews and drivers a better sense of the track facilities layout.

There are only a few days left for pre registration, make sure you don’t miss out on the reduced rates and your chance to run this new facility.

I will be able to answer that question more definitively after this upcoming weekend. We have scheduled to make some more announcements in regards to this event and facilities at that time.

Yep, sending a copy of your drivers license in with the waiver is fine.

Yes, a birth certificate or drivers license copy should be sent in with the waiver, which needs to be signed by both parents. See you at the track Alex.
