If this was just warming up on the stand 2 1/2 on the low is way too much and is probably the problem. On the track under load that settings fine. To just run it on the stand with no load it’s just way rich. I usually warm mine up on the stand at 1 to 1/12 on the low.

the cc fluid may have been dumped into the bottom-end after the rebuild
this will cause lots of smoke and oil out the pipe.
2 1/8 and 1/4 should be good for ontrack break-in

It will smoke and drip oil until everything is well sealed and you did have the high needle rich if you ask me.
