I used to have a mychron 4 and it broke in a crash.  When deciding to buy a new unit, I went with the pro3 evo because of the price difference.  I am very happy with it and recommend it.  They have the same functions and works for me

I’ve never seen the Alfano before but while it looks cheaper on the surface it doesn’t come with any leads.

By the time you do the Pro 3 plus GPS plus a single temp sensor it’s like $30 difference between that and the Mychron 5.

I do see how it can be more of a savings if you’re using 2 temp sensors as the expansion method on the Alfano is a $30 adapter vs. $100 for the 2T Mychron.
