I don’t know much of the MG’s but there are enduro racers who run them but those are mainly  shifter racers but I wouldn’t be afraid to try them on enduro racing especially if I already had them.  I would question why you are going to a wider tire for enduro racing??  We ran and the driver who drives our sprinter now runs 10/4.5/5 on the front and 11/5/6 on the rear (Bridgestones) and both drivers were/is fast. From our experience, wider for sprint and narrower for enduro including narrowing up our chassis. Not sure what tire pressure you run on sprint but in enduro I would go lower (12-14). We always ran higher AP on sprint vs enduro.

Coming from a CIK sprint kart I’m used to taking the turns aggressively, especially in the road races I’ve done with it. I’m just following the principle that wider rears=more cornering grip, which would help the learning curve. I know most of the guys run 5.5s, and we may end up sticking with them as we would likely need new 6.0 rims, another expense. MG doesn’t make a 5.5 either, so we’d run the Hoosier R60A.

Ive ran MG reds on a laydown forever ago (07-08ish). I cant recall them being bad. hoosiers are pretty popular and it was what my buddy was running on his sprint enduro before he “retired” last year.

Hmm, interesting AJ. We plan to run Yellows, and that’s what we’ll be doing for Summit Point. See you all there,
