So I have 2 dead GoPro’s over the last 5 years or so of recording. Of course they broke after the warranty period and when I called Gopro they wont even touch them not even for a fee. Stupid. I started looking a couple years ago for anyone to fix them and all I see are these ifixit do-it-yourself video’s. Getting parts was a whole other PITA. So I looked again last month and found these guys ragecams.com out of Michigan. I am not affiliated in any way just helping those that need it. They have some sick modified GoPro’s with night vision and aftermarket lenses etc. I didn’t even know they fixed them til I called. Mine had a bad image sensor, total repair $68. obviously each case is different but its free to send it to them. Best part…. I figured it would be a week or two for repair, nope….. 2 days.
