Exhaust probe placement in Can Muffler

      Where is the proper and LEGAL placement of an EGT probe in a RLV can muffler?

      Can it be inserted in the can or does it have to be in the little piece of flex between the flange and can?

      I’ve never seen one in the body of the can.  I suspect because that’s not a very effective place for it.  Put it in the short header section.  Its legal and works.
